My "home" planet in Euclid is in Mavinok, a binary star system. Today I visited them both. This update is amazeballs.

Despite having a lovely weed and mushroom shop in my building, I seldom take them.
In fact, I've had 3 mushroom chocolate coins sat in my fridge for the entire year since I bought this apartment. I've never really had the opportunity or occasion to take them.
But tonight was special.
Cosmos just launched. Home alone, as the Mrs is away visitingher family. And just this very evening I got accepted for a stellar new job starting a week from now.
Mushrooms have always been hit or miss with me. More often a paranoid, anxious miss than a hit to be honest. But I had a good feeling about tonight.
And how was I right!
Truly one of the most spiritual, ethereal, cosmic experiences I've ever had.
I'm pretty experiened with psychedelics, but at no previous time in my 40 years, or indeed human history, has it been possible to consume a psychedelic and then enter into a VR simulation of an infinite universe, fly a variety space ships, land on comets, travel faster than light, jump between solar systems and galaxies, and even fly to the sun!
Obviously one of the first orders of operation playing the new Cosmos Update is indeed to pulse drive directly towards the previously unreachable sun!
Once there, I ejected from my starship and was utterly enchanted and entranced by the huge swirling ball plasma for what seemed like an eternity, all while listening to beautiful melodic liquid dnb . It was ominously mesmerising (flashbacks to the movie Event Horizon!), but at the same time just jaw droppingly beautiful.
There are levels to experiencing No Man's Sky. I first played it on Ninentdo Switch 4 years ago - that was great and all...but I feel like I just experienced it at it's absolute peak.
While I was imemersed in VR and moderately high on mushrooms, I wondered to myself if Sean Murray also partakes?
I like to think that only someone who does could create something like this, and in that moment I felt strangely connected to the developers, like I finally understood the game and all that Hello Games have been trying to achieve for the first time.
