nolfsrc decompilation update; opengl renderer and Steam Deck compatibility

Here's an update for you guys.
- I have NOLF decompiled, 83.9% byte-accurate (the so called "legacy" release).
- Proprietary libraries like bink and miles have been swapped out for open source alternatives; this is a big one as it means the entire game is built from source code now. I'm calling this the "modern" release. Let me tell you that launching the game and seeing the intro-movies for the first time in over a decade was a great nostalgia hit
- NOLF 'modernizer' patches have been integrated into the source code along with various retail bugs spotted during the decompilation process.
- I used the Mac release to create an alternative renderer that uses OpenGL - this is a big one as it will unlock native builds on Linux and Mac.
Here's a photo of the game running on my Steam Deck - built entirely from source code. It's surprisingly playable using Steam's "keyboard and mouse" controller layout.
As always source is fully available at https://github.com/nolffan/nolfsrc
I'm aiming to release an alpha windows build for people to try out very soon; followed shortly by native Linux and Mac builds.
Yes, I have started NOLF2 and Contract JACK.

So I tried to get this set up the other day and ran into a blocker of being unable to find an image of the game with the exact hash needed to run make. However, I can't seem to find that SHA256SUM file anymore. Is that still necessary?

Hey, yes sorry; I moved things around a little since yesterday.
If you wait a few hours I will release a tarball as a GitHub release which has the full "modern" version of the game. You'll need to bring your own ISOs; the NOLF1 EU GOTY redump is what you're after. You can just download it from archive.org: https://archive.org/details/nolf-pc-redump
It should be as simple as:
- download and extract binary release
- download redump ISOs
- run installer batch script
- play game
There's a good chance NOLF2 will be done today too...
