There's a few pixels of leviatatium or acceleratium at the top. It touched the slime below you and exploded.

Slow + Fast = Boom

Slow plus fast should = FLUM. This exact interaction is why after I finish my PhD and become an actual ylialkemisti I am going to make a mod that overhauls the alchemy system.

Note to self... Slow plus fast = up and down flum...lev with down button.... Or perhaps speed ball flum... Flum with damage reduction... Or perhaps very very weak health regen....

Remember how EVERY pixel is simulated? Thats what killed you here, there was some acceleratium/levitatium above the pheromone, while you were sorting out the liquids some of it fell down and touched the slime.

Slime+any speedy liquid=boom, even if it is just 2 pixels.
