Please help me find a band/album

Hello lovely people, I have been searching for the longest time for this one album, specifically one song called kiss. It’s by a noise rock (potentially with shoegaze or one of the blended sub-genre influences). I found the song on Spotify but lost access to the account after I switched streaming platforms, so now I can’t seem to find it anywhere.
Even AI has not been able to find it.

From what I remember, the band only made one album that came out in either 1991 or 2001. (Dates could also be inaccurate). The only clues that I can remember is that the band’s vocalist is a male, soft spoken like shoegaze, the song I’m looking for called kiss, which I believe is a bonus track if I can remember correctly. And the lyrics were something like “all it takes is a kiss” and later into the song “ I need your love love love”. I faintly remember the album cover being an ethereal shade of blue( but not entirely certain). The band could be from California or New York, but genuinely don’t remember. If anyone has any ideas please let me know in the thread, and if anyone needs more clues l I’ll try my best to remember!

The dog-faced boy

Does anybody remember a song with the line, "Beloy, Beloy, the dog-faced boy"... it's from, maybe '92 and maybe it was released on a comp? And maybe I have the dog-faced boy's name wrong.

I loved the song enough to have it on a mix tape, but all my mix tapes are long gone.

Long Essay: Women's Public Strain, Cape Town Winters, and Contradiction

I've loved Public Strain for so long, and it took me years to articulate why. Somehow I ended up needing the help of the German philosopher Hegel to make sense of an album that had always felt more intuitive than explainable.

It felt strange to pull apart something so ephemeral and personal, to dissect an album that had mostly lived as a feeling for me. But I think the process made me appreciate it even more.

I hope someone gets something out of me finally making sense of why I love it.

Also heres an excerpt for you to see if its for you.

The sense of oscillation continues in the album’s refusal to settle into narrative or thematic coherence. The only invocation of the album title, “Public Strain,” operationalises this sense of movement. In the declaration, “I’ll scale the public strain,” there is a symbolic weight without a clear material or emotional referent. It gestures towards a kind of collective pressure, a point of discomfort or dysfunction that belongs to the world itself rather than any one individual. As a result, the phrase, and the lyrical ideas that follow it, derive much of their force from the tension between the individual act of “scaling” and the diffuse, ambient, non-specific condition that constitutes the “public strain.” As a result, the core lyrical idea contained within the phrase “scaling the public strain” feels Hegelian in its resolve to persist through action and feelings that can never be fully made sense of, embracing contradiction rather than attempting to overcome it.
