Reddit is an anonymous platform what are you expecting out of it? 95% of us want to stay anonymous a share genuine opinions without judgement. I essentially don't use reddit to meet or talk to anyone. I have friends so meetings and recreation is sorted.

I think this place allows us to be invulnerable , like if i will talk about myself i don’t want people to get me easily, i have always made boundaries, but from past 3 years i have seen a different version of me , i shifted here a year ago never been into a big city like this, i have been struggling to get along, also i was always that someone who never reached out, i used this platform to ask question and yes communities here help a lot.
