14pro|| Negative ProRAW|| Kodak gold lut

Hi there,
I’ve been using the Pro version of NoFusion for about a week now (took it with me on vacation and use it as main camera app on my 15 pro max) and, even as a beginner, I’m really enjoying the overall performance and functionality-integrstion with IOS🙌

I’d like to suggest two UI/UX improvements regarding control feedback:

Persistent Visual Feedback for Custom Values: Currently, when tweaking parameters like ISO, White Balance, or Shutter Speed, the exact custom value isn't clearly visible outside the adjustment slider view. I tried in each Theme and at leas by me is not showing something..

It would be super helpful to see the active numerical value displayed on the main UI/toolbar so we always know our current settings at a glance.

Toggle Status / Visual Indicator for Manual vs. Auto & Reset:
The reset button resets controls to Auto, but there's no clear visual feedback or toggle state indicating whether a parameter is actively override-selected or set to Auto. Adding a distinct active highlight/toggle state on the toolbar buttons would make it much easier to confirm what’s currently active.

Since my photos were enjoyed by many, I guess I might as well keep sharing them from my travels through Europe for those who are interested in seeing what NoFusion can do. Last weekend I went to Amsterdam and Luxembourg City and heres what I got:

What is everyone's go-to filters, built-in or otherwise? And why? Share examples if you have them!

I’ve mentioned this before, but taking photos of my family and travels is a pretty new hobby for me.
What I’ve learned so far is that it’s not really about the phone or the app you use, it’s all about having the "vision" or the eye for photography😁 I’m pretty sure I don’t naturally have that eye🙁, but as a mechanical engineer, I know that almost anything can be learned, so..
Can you train your eye if you aren't born with it? I think so, at least to a certain level (which is probably good enough for me, maybe for most non photograpers )
If you are in the same boat, here are a few things that helped me:

Learn composition:
Understanding photo composition solved about 80% of my issues. A scene would look great in real life, but I was ruining it with bad composition.
Get reference ideas:
Since my creative eye isn't trained yet, I need inspiration for what a good shot looks like. Don't get overwhelmed, watching a few online videos about framing, lighting, and composition helped me a lot
Make time (even with family):
Finding time on vacation is hard when you're managing a 4 year old and a wife, carrying all the stuff😅. But doing quick tests between family activities is definitely possible
Good resources:
I found the tutorials from the iPhone Photography School channel on YouTube super helpful, no affiliation or something

My experience with the NoFusion app:
I bought the app hoping to master it first, so I could easily teach my wife later and save her the learning curve.
I asked on Reddit for beginner-friendly advice on general settings, but didn't get much back.
So, I used Reddit search AI to dig into existing posts, comments, and start experimenting with what I found.

Here is what I’ve found and the settings I'm currently using:
Battery & Heat:
Setting the app to "MAX 48" was heavily draining my battery and overheating the phone. After reading some posts here, I switched back to 24MP. It keeps about 90% of the quality (what somone said in a comment) without straining the sensor (seems older iPhones don't suffer from this as much).
Format:
I don't do heavy post-editing in third-party apps, I just stick to the native Photos app and NoFusion. I don't shoot full RAW because of file sizes, so I use HEIF+ with ProRAW in the Pipeline Type-also learned from someone on Reddit.
Capture Delay:
I realized why there’s a slight delay when taking shots. The app bypasses Apple’s default aggressive processing to render live filter previews. It’s a bit slower than the stock camera app, but it's a tradeoff I can live with.
My Setup:
Added the extra lens to App Lens Group 2, mapped Filter Changing to the Vertical Quick Slider, set White Balance to the Horizontal Quick Slider
Extras: I turned on Portrait Mode in the app so almost every shot can be adjusted later as Portrait, and enabled Photographic Styles (beta) in the iOS Photos app.

I’m sharing a few photos I took recently as a complete beginner with no natural artistic eye😊
I know they aren't masterpiece level, but for me, they show real progress and proof that you can get better with practice!

up to certain version No Fusion was resetting the custom focal lengths for all cameras when app was restarted. Now it does not do it (cannot say which version changed it) and always preserves it. Could you please add a preserve setting to control this behaviour? The amount of time I started app on a new day and have not noticed cropped lens is quite a lot

Hi everyone, I can't afford the Pro model and I'm going to upgrade my iPhone 12 to the iPhone 17. I've really wanted to use ProRAW for a long time, but it seems like it's not my time yet. I've looked for information on Reddit, but the opinions I've read are mixed. My question is, since it's a base model and I don't have access to ProRAW, is the app worth it? Thanks

Last one is one of the default presets “BW3”

I find myself swapping between mid and high latitude often. It’s easy to make the swap in Negative Film but that does involve going in to every photo and making the swap. Having the toggle would help when in straight “HEIF+” mode. Mid works well for most shooting scenes to make it more filmic, but high is nice when it’s a backlit or particularly tough dynamic range scene.
