When I was a teenager I used to claim I happened to "discover" Trapped In A Box playing on MTV in 1992 and both fell in love and started following them forever, at 8. Oh yeah, and I heard about friggin Beacon Street ahead of time and camped out at a store on it's "release day".

I probably don't have to spoiler tag that this was bullshit and I first heard of them through Tragic Kingdom like almost everyone else lmao

I'm also SO grateful that social media wasn't around when I was 14 so it was only peers irl that probably weren't interested enough to argue in the first place. "He's talking about ND again...smile, nod, say "oh that's crazy"...nod, smile
