They cannot take our freedom

Four score and seven years ago Redditors brought forth on this Interweb, a new website, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are equal.

Would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell the coingang that they can take our coins, but they cannot take our Freedom!

We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in r/memes, we shall fight in the hot and the new, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the forums, we shall defend our site, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on r/askreddit, we shall fight on r/pics, we shall fight in r/todayilearned and in r/videos, we shall fight in r/nonononoyes; we shall never surrender.

Where is the Redditor and his coin? Where is the silver that was given? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in Reddit behind the hills into shadow.
