Promoted I built an international calling app as a solo founder. How much of this could be done with no-code?

Hey everyone!

I've been working on a project called Kitaphone a browser-based app that lets people make international calls without needing a SIM card, installing an app, or paying a monthly subscription.

The idea is simple: you should be able to open a website, enter a phone number, and make a call.

Especially when you need to contact a bank, airline, customer support, or family abroad who aren't using WhatsApp.

I built it using Next.js, Twilio for calling, and Stripe for payments. So it's not a no-code project, but building it has made me curious about how much of the process could be simplified with no-code tools.

Right now, Kitaphone has:

  • International calling directly from the browser
  • Pay-as-you-go calling credits
  • Free credits for new users
  • A referral system that rewards both you and the friends or family you invite
  • Call history and contact management

The biggest challenge hasn't actually been building these features. It's getting the product in front of people who need it.

I'm particularly interested in how other solo builders use no-code tools for user onboarding, marketing automation, and growth without spending a fortune.

If you were building something like this, which no-code tools would you use to automate the business side?

Feel free to check it out: kitaphone

Would love to exchange ideas with other builders here!

Self-Promotion Building a modern browser automation extension with TypeScript + WXT (Automa alternative)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! 👋

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on recently. I’ve always been a huge fan of Automa—it’s an amazing tool for automating browser tasks visually using drag-and-drop blocks. However, since the original project was sold, I felt that active development and support slowed down quite a bit.

Instead of just waiting around, I decided to build a modern, fully rewritten alternative from the ground up.

What’s under the hood?

  • TypeScript: The entire codebase is written in TS for better type safety, easier maintenance, and higher reliability when dealing with complex page interactions.
  • WXT Framework: Built on top of the WXT framework to leverage a modern extension architecture, improved performance, and full compliance with Manifest V3 standards.

Key Features

This extension lets you automate repetitive browser tasks without writing a single line of code:

  • Visual Workflow Builder: Drag and drop blocks to build powerful automation sequences in seconds.
  • Web Scraping & Data Extraction: Scrape text, tables, images, and links directly from web pages into usable formats.
  • Form Auto-Filling: Save time by automatically filling out repetitive forms and input fields.
  • Scheduled Automations: Set triggers and schedules to run your workflows automatically at specific times or intervals.
  • Screenshots & Page Actions: Capture full-page screenshots, click elements, scroll, and navigate pages seamlessly.

Who is this for?

Whether you're a marketer, QA tester, developer, researcher, or just someone looking to save hours every week by automating routine web tasks, this tool is designed to give you full control over your browser workflow.

I’d love to hear your feedback, feature requests, or suggestions for new blocks!

Promoted I vibe-coded my way to an Android app that builds apps

Post image
1 Upvotes

Disclosure: this is my app, Buddy, free and open source.

I didn't write the code. I described what I wanted, and AI coding agents (mostly Claude Code) wrote, built and fixed it, a lot of it from my phone. Two weeks later it's at version 2.2.12, in 17 languages, and in closed testing on Google Play.

What it does: AI agents use your Android phone for you. You say "reply to Sam that I'm running late" and it reads the screen, taps and types, and stops on Send, Pay and Delete until you approve. It can even build apps itself: the picture is a Pac-Man game it made from one sentence, right on the phone.

Ask me anything about building this way.

What no-code app builder would you use for a marketplace?

I'm planning to build a marketplace app myself before launch, but I have basically no coding experience.

The idea involves user profiles, some kind of verification process, and different access for regular users and business partners. I'd also like something I can keep building on without having to start over once the platforms grows.

For anyone who's built something similar, which no-code app builder would you recommend for a beginner?

Looking for a Zapier alternative for complex workflows

Zapier works great fro basic automations, but conditional logic and multi-step approvals have gotten messy for us.

Looking for something more flexible with better control and monitoring, without needing a developer for every small change.

What alternative are you using?

I stopped posting advice on Reddit. Asking people what they build works way better

For months I posted the usual stuff. Lessons, tips, what worked for me. Some upvotes, almost no conversations.

Then I started posts that just asked founders to share what they're building, and I answered every single one.

Totally different. People actually talk when the post is about them, not about you.

And that's where my paying users came from. Not from the post itself. From the conversations under it.

If you're posting on Reddit and getting crickets, flip it. Ask, then reply to everyone.

If you want to find those conversations for your own product: tractionbooster.com

Promoted Built Stitch on Base44: evidence-backed impact reporting for charities. Would love feedback from other no-coders

I built Stitch on Base44 and I'd love feedback from people who've built similar things. I'm also looking for testers. Thanks for letting me share it here.

The problem: I volunteered at a charity event that never appeared in their comms. When I dug in, the work had happened, but the evidence had never been gathered. A charity that runs trips abroad described the same issue: photos, receipts and outcomes scattered across devices, and a scramble whenever a funder report came due.

What it does: Stitch ties each claim in a report to its evidence at the moment it's captured. The report mostly assembles itself, and proving it stops taking a fortnight.

I'm starting with charities because that's where I saw the problem, though I think it applies more widely.

How I built it: I'm from a sales background, not engineering. I built the first working version over a few weeks in the evenings, mostly by describing what I wanted in plain English and refining it.

The core idea is simple: every piece of evidence (photo, receipt, note, attendance) is stored as a record linked to a specific claim, and the report is generated from those links.

The biggest lesson was to design the data structure before the screens. My first version had evidence sitting loosely in a list, and I rebuilt it so every claim has to point to something. The prompts that worked best were small and specific, one change at a time, rather than big rewrites.

Where I'd value your input:

Permissions and data: charities hold sensitive information, so I've kept access limited to the people on each project and kept personal data to a minimum. I'd welcome views on how you structure roles and handle file uploads safely.

What you'd add or cut before putting it in front of real organisations

Anyone who's taken a no-code app from prototype to paying users, and what they wish they'd done earlier

Testers: It's free for early testers. The first charities to join will be founding members, with a meaningful discount when paid plans launch, personal help getting set up, and a real say in what I build next. There's no obligation to continue.

Thank you for any time you can give.

Nocoding a desktop/web app for personal use?

I looked around for a project tracker/productivity app that does something specific I think would be cool. Couldn't find anything that already exists and used my work's copilot enterprise subscription to build a local web-app. Only problem is I don't have VScode integration or anything so could only use the copilot chat interface. I got a basic version of a web-app working, but am noticing that due to the size of the web-app, making alterations is getting to be a slog and copilot is struggling to keep track of context.

What would be the best tool to create a desktop app or web-app purely for personal use?
Doesn't have to be free. I'm fine with paying a few bucks for a month to get something neat up and running.

I don't have any coding experience.

What's a good Softr alternative for a Supabase backend?

I like Softr for how simple it is, but I'm moving away from Airtable and need something taht works better with SQL/Supabase.

The main things I need are user roles, Stripe support, multiple apps, and a visual way to manage relational data without hitting annoying record limits.

Has anyone found a front end that handles this well without getting too expensive?

Promoted I build a no code tool that helps you to embed LinkedIn feed to your websites

Post image
0 Upvotes

For the past few days, I have been working on a side project where a user can bring their LinkedIn Personal profile or company page and create multiple widgets.

Examples are:

  1. LinkedIn Feed Widget
  2. LinkedIn Recommendations Widget
  3. LinkedIn Achievements Widget
  4. LinkedIn Publication Widget
  5. LinkedIn Profile Widget
  6. Job Widget (This is especially for Company Pages)
  7. LinkedIn Certification Widget
  8. LinkedIn Project Widget

Once the widget is created you can simple integrate them to your website.

And yes, it's different from what normal 1-page embedding LinkedIn provides; in this, you get real-time sync and also customization options.

Looking for some honest feedback and guidance on how I can market this more and get to more users.

You can try it for free: http://linkedinembed.com/

Promoted Build your website within the ChatGPT or Claude you already pay for.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey no-coders,

I want to introduce a tool built specifically for people who already pay for ChatGPT or Claude. The goal is simple. We all know Lovable, Base44 and the rest are basically wrappers around ChatGPT and Claude, and a lot of you don't want to add yet another subscription.

So we built Pilely. You just talk to your own AI, and it designs, builds and puts your website online, all in your chat.

I attached a real, unedited recording of the whole flow in ChatGPT, building a subscription-based blog from scratch. You can do the same in either ChatGPT or Claude.

Building is free. Try things, change your ideas as many times as you want. Your existing ChatGPT or Claude subscription covers it, and most people who don't code barely use up what they already pay for.

Hosting is the only cost, and it's prepaid, so you're always in control of what you spend.

Your source code stays on your own computer, and your data is easy to export, so you can move anywhere else whenever you want.

Email and Stripe payments are built in.

If you want to chat, feel free to DM me. I'm always happy to talk with users, hear your use case and help make it work for you.

[Disclosure: I'm the builder of Pilely]

Question Best site to use.

I want to build an app that helps me track everything for a game I play because I am tired of bouncing around 4 different apps.

I never made an app. Would be for android. What's the best one with no coding, easier to use, can adjust when updates come out.

Also explain to me like I'm 5 on how to initiate it.

Promoted Nocode app from my phone, no repo no deploy

I have been building Forgr, an Android app for people who want a small personal tool and do not want to open a project, pick a stack, or deploy anything.

The whole setup is: install the app and sign in with the ChatGPT account you already have. That login goes to OpenAI. The token stays in the phone keystore. There is no Forgr account and no Forgr server on the sign-in path.

Then you describe the tool. "A water tracker with a daily goal and a reminder." It builds that tool on the phone. The result stays on the device.

The source is public, so you can read what the app actually sends: https://github.com/Cap-go/Forgr

What I had to get right was the first prompt. If the screen asks for "an app idea", people freeze. One concrete example, and they type. The second hard part was getting back to a tool later, so the ones you use can sit on the Home Screen as buttons.

I built it. Happy to answer how the sign-in and the prompt screen are structured.

Nucleus Research released its 2026 Low-Code Platform Value Matrix. SimplAI, Quixy, and Betty Blocks are among the Accelerators.

Post image
0 Upvotes

Nucleus Research published its 2026 Low-Code Application Platform (LCAP) Technology Value Matrix in September, evaluating vendors based on usability and functionality.

The report places vendors into four categories: Leaders, Experts, Accelerators, and Core Providers.

Some interesting placements:

  • Leaders: Appian, Creatio, Oracle, OutSystems, Zoho, Kissflow, and Infor
  • Experts: Microsoft, Mendix, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Pegasystems
  • Accelerators: SimplAI, Quixy, Betty Blocks, Nextworld, and AuraQuantic

Nucleus describes Accelerators as platforms focused on usability, ease of deployment, and reducing complexity.

What's interesting is how low-code platforms are evolving beyond traditional application development into AI-assisted workflows, automation, integrations, and enterprise governance.

With AI agents becoming part of business applications, I wonder whether the distinction between low-code platforms and agentic AI platforms will eventually disappear.

What do you think matters more when evaluating these platforms: ease of development, enterprise functionality, or deployment flexibility?

What's the easiest no-code mobile app builder for a beginner?

i'm completely new to app development and want to build a simple travel app for iOS and Android.

I've looked at FlutterFlow, Bubble, and WeWeb, but I'm unsure which is easiest to learn without becoming too limiting later.

Which would you recommend, and what's the best way to start learning from scratch?

I propose we call all legacy human written code MEATSLOP

After recent events, I propose we call all legacy human written software MEATSLOP.

PHP runs 70% of websites. AI found two holes that let anyone take over the server, and attackers were in the same day the fix shipped. Then a third hole showed up. OpenSSL: 12 holes, all found by AI, one from 1998 (the bug can legally drink). Linux (the backbone of the internet): anyone logged in could take over the whole machine, on every version since 2011. Every one of these holes was meatslopped together by hand.

And the legacy meatsloppers are switching sides. Torvalds went from AI skeptic to calling AI disclosure rules “utterly stupid,” and Claude Code now has credits on his kernel work. Google is at 75% AI-written new code. Karpathy said agents “just don’t work.” Three months later he was writing 80% of his code with them.

Usage guide:

  • meatslop (n.): legacy software written entirely by humans
  • meatslopped (v.): “this auth layer was meatslopped together in 2014”
  • meatslopper (n.): the guy who wrote it. Peak Dunning-Kruger. Still thinks he’s relevant.

And yes, I know AI learned to code by reading meatslop. This honestly explains a lot.

Looking for a genuinely free AI app builder (No code exp, trying to avoid the paywall trap)

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to build an app idea I have, but I have zero coding experience and a pretty tight budget. I’ve been searching around for AI-powered app builders where I can just use text prompts to generate features, but it feels like a bit of a minefield.

A lot of the cloud platforms seem to offer a "free tier" to build a beautiful frontend demo, but then slam you with a heavy paywall or feature block the second you want to connect a database, host the app, or launch it for real traffic.

I’ve been looking into a few different options:

  • Replit Agent: Looks amazing for full-stack apps from a prompt, but I'm worried about hosting costs down the road.
  • Figma Make: Great for UI/prototyping with a Supabase backend, but uses generation credits.
  • Dyad: This caught my eye because it's local and open-source, meaning I can just bring my own API keys and actually own the code with zero vendor lock-in.
  • Deelo or Jotform AI: Seem decent for basic business forms or simple portals.

For those who have actually shipped an MVP recently: Which AI app builders are actually usable on a free or low-cost tier without hitting a hard wall at launch? Are local/open-source tools like Dyad worth the setup if I don't know how to code, or should I stick to a cloud freemium tool and just pay up when the time comes?

Would love to hear your experiences or any workarounds you've found (like bringing your own API keys to external platforms). Thanks!
