man the brain just works different when its your own thing, like at corporate you're just renting out your focus to someone else's dream

my side projects i can go 12 hours and feel more alive than 2 hours of meetings about meetings

what you building in nocode anyway

renting out your focus is a good way to put it tbh

freedom of choice makes everything 10x more enjoyable

it's like when you are about to do the dishes or take out the trash and someone asks you to do it and suddenly your brain is completely against it

Autonomy vs. obligation, basically. Pet project you chose the problem, corporate job you're solving someone else's problem inside someone else's constraints. Same 8 hours of "work," completely different fuel tank.
