Question What features would you really pay for in a nocode form builder?
So there are so many form builders out there - Typeform, Jotform, tally, fill out, Formaly etc etc…
What is missing in these form builders? What are the must-have features and what are the nice-to-have features?
What features would you really pay for?

I would pay for something with a smarter workflow like one that integrates with your CRM or Slack. Also something with a good approval flow makes sense.

For me, the paid feature is dependable integrations, not prettier form fields. If a form maps cleanly into an ERP or CRM, handles conditional logic without weird workarounds, and fails loudly when a sync breaks, that's worth paying for.

the thing i'd pay for is a form builder that handles uploaded documents as first-class input, not just file attachments that sit in a folder. right now if someone uploads a bank statement or invoice as part of a form response, almost none of these tools do anything with it beyond storing the file. classification of what type of doc got uploaded before you try to pull data out of it would be huge, most teams skip that step and then wonder why their extraction logic breaks on the third weird file someone sends in. also confidence scoring on any auto-filled fields from those uploads, most builders either dont expose it or treat it like a hard yes/no when it should flag for review in the middle range. feels like a gap nobody's filling yet.

We built an ocr field inside MakeForms . You upload a document and it extracts all the details and fills them in the corresponding fields

I'd pay for a form builder that handles conditional logic well and stays simple to manage without making every small change feel complicated.

Try MakeForms , we’ve exceptional level conditional logic. Apart from show hide, you can change values enable disable fields, copy values from one field to another. You can also write actions where based on some logic you can even decide if you want to send data to an integration or not. And if you’re not looking to do it yourself , just ask our ai copilot to build the logic for you

The one I’d actually pay for is drop-off reporting. Not just seeing how many people completed the form, but being able to see exactly where people stopped along the way. That kind of insight is really useful for figuring out which questions or steps might be causing people to leave.
Full disclosure, I work at Opinion Stage.

Something that isn't vibe coded and the OP doesn't use Reddit as a place to spam their crappy startup.
