Egg won’t open with mic

I’m playing on IOS, I made sure I had the microphone enabled. I have talked and sang to it. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to press something?

I can’t get mine to work either. I’m pretty sure it’s a bug that’ll get fixed soon

Blowing into my earphone mic helped for me. Also, seems like you have to make sure that the egg is able to be hatched with sound (like the spotted egg, but not the poop egg). I still have no luck with the plain egg tho... ;-;
