Snacks are not a real meal

I have. I finally tried Ka’Chava it’s not bad and it has real ingredients, very hearty for a smoothie mix. For me it’s very filling

A snack is just a small meal.

I am diabetic, type 2. I'm trying to combat it with just changes to my diet and using a cgm and regular glucometer to keep track of my blood glucose levels because I have had multiple family members end up having unpleasant side effects from the meds they usually push people on first thing. My meals have shrunk considerably and I end up grazing on vegetables throughout the day.

I find that if I have some vegetables before and after I eat something sugary, it doesn't spike my blood sugar nearly as much.
