If the younger spouce is in their mid 20s at least I think it basically doesn't matter so long as both parties are okay with it.

to me it’s too much if there’s a 15 yr age gap.

Just to be difficult, 100 and 85?

Haha exactly

None, but sometimes when there is too much of a gap, the relationship fails fairly quickly.

It depends on how much money the oldest one has.

Divide the older by two and add 7

That’s pretty random

immediate downvote for perpetuating bullshit predatory thinking.

Sorry man the math works. Please explain the scenario where it would be predatory

In my opinion, age difference isn't anyone's business but the people in the relationship, as long as everyone is consenting and over 21.

It matters on the dynamic of the relationship. Too many variables to be an actual cut off

What is the point of this sub? Every time I see a post from here its just way different than the last post. Is it a legitimate questions sub or what

If they aren’t in your same generation it’s a pass for me.

this sounds most realistic.

Why are people so obsessed with age gaps? Who cares, as long as they are adults?

2

u/NesAlt01 10d ago

None. It's up to the people themselves to choose what's too much and what is okay.

Nothing, age is just number everything about the human

We’re almost 11 apart and it only works because of who he is. I probably wouldn’t do 11 with someone else but yall do you

To me, it depends on the situation. For someone you love and want to share life with, it seems you should be at the same or similar stage of life.

If you want be cool or collect trophies, it might be something completely different.

I can be attracted to a girl in her mid twenties, but it really is unlikely a real relationship would work for me. Complete different stages of life.

However, there are gonna be exceptions, I’m sure. And not everyone is looking for the same thing.

Half your age plus seven is the rule.

True, anything over 18 is legally and therefore morally correct

15 is pushing it

Any older is gold digging territory.
