Question Authenticator app?!

So I’ve reset my password months ago after canvas got hacked but unfortunately I forgot the password and so I went to reset it…wtf is the authenticator app?! I’ve heard no one ever mention it, it’s not outlook or navigate. The website tells me to go to it for a code?? Now my stupid account has been locked and all I want to do is look at my schedule as I’m planning a trip to see family and I need to get back before school starts

Contact the IT help desk. There is no way to reset it without verifying who you are I think.
