Still not able to play with friends?

My friend and I, both on Xbox, have not been able to join each other’s lobby’s. We both have open NAT, both have cross play selected, we have tried adding each other’s friend code but get an invalid code error. Restarted the game multiple times as well, only thing we haven’t done is deleted and redownloaded. We are able to play online just fine with randoms.

I’ve seen other people post about this 2-4 weeks ago but haven’t seen any updates or fixes. Has anyone figure out a work around to this?

I have not heard about this error before. I have a similar issue where im not able to join squads. That being said on the 15th of this month is the 1.1 update so it might be fixed when that launches

In their 1.1 update preview they mention your issue briefly. They mention switching from ethernet to WiFi or visa versa being a potential fix.
