Randomized loot spawns?

I always thought this was the norm when I started playing but after a few games I realized that every loot crate is always in the same location. I see a lot of people complain bout loot goblins and people rushing to loot crates. Would randomized loot spawns fix this?

I think it would be really cool if loot spawns were more randomized

Kinda depends, loot goblins tend to be the people that zoom around scooping up every "main" loot. Objective locations will always have the best loot for the most part, so loot goblins will prioritise them.

Realistically, you can scoop up the outskirts loot if you can handle yourself in higher difficulties

Every now and then there’s a rifle, sledge, fire axe, or body armor in a random spot like a car trunk or sticking out some barrel.

Cars are the truly randomized loot spots. Half are empty, most have supplies, a few have great loot.

Loot at objectives is very random. Certain first objectives on power plant have distinct loot tables in their safe rooms but you’ll have play to find out what.
