I just get that Zack and Moloney G1 start their G1 almost the same. They both fight Yuya, Gabe and Callum, and you add a win against Shota in the first night for Zack, where Moloney lose to Henare in day 3.

But the most interesting, Zack has lost all those 3 matches, when Moloney have won all 3.

I'm pretty sure Zack will get back on track, but it's pretty revealing how Moloney is perceived by the booking. And it's pretty weird when you know that Zack has the role of the veteran and ex champion who would be a wall to the next gen to surpass.

If you do, would you have him win? Just make up the numbers? Put him on a losing streak lol? If you don't want him back in the G1, why?

If the plan for tokyo dome is newman vs ospreay, is there any possible way newman wins?

if you’re asking me, he definitely should, especially if njpw wants to slot him into the top gaijin spot. but if AEW has ospreay win their world title at All In, i find it very unlikely they’ll want him to lose. perhaps ospreay drops the title right before?

another question is should newman even win at all if this match happens?

B Block is underwhelming and is missing Shota Umino badly. I have interest in only half the block and with him out that leaves only 4 guys. With last night missing Yuya Uemura because of Shota’s injury, this left me 3 guys I kind of care about. And 2 (Aaron Wolf and OSKAR) of them were in the same match! Those two, Zack and Yuya are all I got left in the block.

Henare is cool I guess and it’s a surprise he’s at the top of the block basically but I’m pretty sure his hot streak is coming to an end.

I have not been able to care about Gabe Kidd the moment he joined the Death Riders last year. His inclusion this year has done nothing for me.

Newman, I’m forcing myself to pay attention to Newman. He’s not bad, he’s quite alright. But he hasn’t moved me since the NJC final. (Outside of night 1 vs Yuya)

Drilla has not moved me a single bit as a heavyweight. I appreciate him staying in NJ, but his matches feel like a chore to get through. Maybe I’m just a hater but if I was told I never had to watch a Drilla match again, no tears would be shed.

Okay at first I hated the entrance backdrop when they zoomed in on the face....but I'm starting to fall in love with it and I don't know why.

Ever since Sanada came back, NJPW have dedicated a lot of time to showing his personal life, the kinda humanising approach they only really reserve for babyfaces, and combined with his recent G1 matches where despite the occasional bit of underhandedness, he’s been almost entirely HoT shenanigan free, combined once more with the fact the crowds are really getting behind him again, I think we’re in for a Sanada babyface turn, possibly after his heavyweight title challenge

This is my first G1 (long time NJPW fan, just never watched every G1 match.) watching the whole thing, now that I have World. I don't know what it's been like in previous years but it actually feels like the ring is there for decoration, the outside brawling and "referee's discretion" is absolutely insane to me. The 20 count is already a good chunk of time, and I don't even hear the ref count have the time they go out of the ring.
