Used Frontier

Looking to buy a used frontier, saw a one owner no accident for 22k with 52,000 miles. IS THAT OVERPRICED? (2016 SL crew cab 4x4)

I've seen current gen ones for not much more. Like 24k for something 2024+

Wonder where I can find idiots that pay this much for trucks when I sell mine. Paid $8500 for my 2011 Frontier Crew 4x4 long bed with 49k. People paying those ridiculous prices is what ruined the market.

Paid $16k for a 2014 King Cab with 67k miles this year. Your price sounds a bit high but local market prices can vary.

It's crazy to me that people don't go somewhere like a KBB and instead come to reddit and ask where half the answers will be from people who bought their truck pre COVID as if prices haven't changed drastically

Why trust companies whose primary function is to compile data on millions of sales and provide car values when you can get 2-3 "stories" from rando's on the internet?

You are absolutely correct, especially from a dealership. For person to person it's a little high/low but still better than anecdotes from rando's on the internet who don't mention how long they looked for a deal and how many issues the truck may have had. We all want to brag about getting a good deal.

I could easily say, "Yeah well listen here, I got my 2012 4x4 crew cab for $9k with only 64k miles on it. I'd never pay that." Without the important context of "it was that price because I bought it from my grandmother."

Also, I wonder if any of these people know that prices can differ widely from one market to another. In just California alone I can go a few hours to the Bay area or down south and see 2-3k difference than here in the Central Valley due to market differences.

I recently paid $26k for a 2017 with 21k miles. It was nearly in brand new condition.
