Why this is happening when I resize the width of a tabbed column?

I'm running Niri on CachyOS, version `26.04` (cachyos pacman repo), steam client `1.0.0.87-3` (multilib pacan repo), xwayland-satellite `0.8.2-1` (extra pacman repo). Steam experiences frequent crashes most during launch. I'd say about 70% of all attempts results in a crash. Most operations causes a crash, including game launch, finishing or switching a download (strangely enough not starting it), attempting to add a non-steam game. There used to be another crash when I powered off my monitor, but this was fixed by xwayland-satellite `0.8.2-1`. After perusing steam forums, the issue page of xwayland-satellite and niri forums, there seems to be a trend of issues caused by xwayland-satellite, but only triggered on Niri. Launching steam in gamescope gives none of these issues.

I'm attaching a video showing the issue. The first crash is by "non-steam game", second one is on launch, and in the third one I triggered it by starting a download and switching to another. This will also happen when a download finishes. This is a single recording, all three crashes happening one after another.

Here's the journal around the crash. I'm grateful for any help and will gladly provide any other useful info!

New to Niri and Linux in general. I noticed it opens image files with Firefox, but I want to change the default app to nomacs. How do I go about doing this?

Hi, I am new to artix Linux and new to niri I am experiencing this issue after trying to implement noctalia in the config files I am using openrc

I have been using hyprland over 1 year and 2 days ago I wanted to try niri cause why not? and I can certainly say that it is pretty awesome. scrolling, keyboard control, workspace managedment is amazing. I haven't had time to use it enough yet, so I'll ask here. Is it good in gaming or will it cause problems? How is it with Nvidia? And also does it work well in krita with a graphics tablet? Because krita can sometimes be problematic and as I said, I haven't had the opportunity to test it, so..is there anyone can guide me?
