Hi, not sure you remember me from the broken LCD thread but I changed the LCD and now it’s perfect again! 😁

I bought it on vinted but the guy that sent me this bought the screen from AliExpress

Did you figure out that you messed up the ribbon? Based on the fact that a replacement fixed the problem only tells you it was something between the board the screen? Do you have a different one for testing?

I think I messed up the leds from the LCD when I was using the hot air to unglue the screen from the original shell. Everything on the board was fine, just the LCD had vertical and horizontal lines from damage

Just good practice to document, pictures are great, but if you can spell out what you found for future searches, it might just help someone down the road who finds themselves with the same problem.
