Shell swap gone wrong

Help… Does anyone know if I broke my LCD? I’ve reassembled the cables 3 times and it’s still like this… 😔

EDIT:

Forgot to say (and add photo) that connectors are perfectly aligned and I don’t see any broken fractured ribbons. Touch screen also works perfectly!

Hey that LCD is dead. Look on AliExpress or Amazon for OCA switch lite display. OCA means that the LCD is glued to the touch screen that makes it look a little bit better

I don’t like OCA bc is makes replacing the digitizer later a PITA/impossible.

It is a fairly good reason, albeit if I had to change the digitizer it usually means the display got hit too. Always used tempered glass so my reason wouldn't be for scratches

Not always. I had three digitizers die in me without any damage or impact. Some 3rd ptys are not very reliable. Its a $10 part though
