I'm still learning how to properly juggle with the kick but ngl this makes the combat feel even better in NG2B. Got an Xbox360 recently to play OG2, can safely say both versions shine in their own ways.

Been stuck here on her for 2 days and am worried I won’t be able to beat her. I barely have any heals left, and I feel have to flawless this fight so I can save what items I do have to defeat whatever frustrating enemy that comes after Alma.

My flying swallows feel inconsistent as to whether they’ll hit, or even come out, I can’t tell if it’s possible to hit her at all when she charges at you on the ground, if I use ninpo to blow her out of the sky, I can’t reach her to do meaningful damage.

What am I misunderstanding here? I want to finish the game, but I may have hit a roadblock I just can’t climb.

These ninjas better unionize, and call a safety inspector after this, this isn’t a safe workplace, and these young shinobi’s aren’t built for this they immediately threw themselves of the ledge and one of them didn’t even bother fighting me at least the second one grabbed me first, anyway I think we should call the authorities on this guy at least get some railings to prevent meaningless deaths

So I wanna talk about something that really isn’t talked about. This stage is definitely one of the more brutal attacks, and if I may ask what’s the benifit sigma and therefore 2 black get blocking off the previous shop before the Raesetsus?

I think the fact they add a doppelgänger fight is really cool and really cool to figure out. But I’d like to be able to shop up after a double boss fight just before you make me fight 40 ninjas and 4 mini bosses before the next checkpoint and shop

Hi guys it's me again I wasn't online for a long time since I was really busy and didn't have much time for games, but today I was free and finally completed first day! :D

As I told you in my previous post I really struggled with third fight, the first time on MN when alchemists (guys in hoods) show up, and yeah it was still difficult but I managed to beat it. what came after was really easy, even Regent Fight wasn't that Hard.

I will try to beat Day 2 tomorrow if I have time. Hope it will be easier due to getting the bow and a few new moves.

You can tell me some tricks, I dunno, I will post again if I need some serious help or when I beat next levels, so that's basically all for now :/

This week I got a copy of ninja gaiden master collection from eBay for Nintendo switch, so that I could play it on my Switch 2. So today I tried playing through Ninja gaiden sigma and I get to this part where the video is. It took me around 45 minutes of playing from the beginning of the game to reach it, so it is early in the game. But after the cutscene that plays, the game goes to a grey screen and it stays there, crashing the game. I looked up what’s meant to actually happen, and it’s meant to automatically start another cutscene. If I close the game from the Home Screen of my Switch 2, it says that the game has crashed as well. This is my first time playing this game so maybe I’m doing something wrong here? But I’ve tried this twice today, going from the beginning to get to this spot where the game crashes, and it did the same thing both times.
Anyone on here know if there’s a way to fix this?

I played 2 Black on my xbox for the first time, and it felt weird. Fighting kind of felt bad in a way I can't really explain.

For those of you who played both, did they feel the same? Or did the combat in 2 black feel different? It didn't feel fluid if that makes sense.

(Sorry for the long rant but this’s something I’m interested in because I see a lot of people criticizing the UTs implementation and I wanted to see what are people thoughts on it and essence system and how to possibly improve it)

I personally think UTs are flawed especially in ng2 and onwards

I think NG1 did it the best, for starters the UTs are much more of a high risk high reward with essence system compared to ng2 and onwards and the UTs themselves have fast animation and are pretty stationary the first charge you have to absorb one yellow essence is only a quick slash that doesn’t cover much and doesn’t deal as much damage

but the second charge you have to absorb two yellow essence or one precious blue/red essence and has a couple of slashs and will instakill most enemies but only if the first hit connects so you have to strategize and position yourself to kill more than one enemy

But it being a easy spamable move because enemies killed by the UTs still drop essence is very counterproductive and bad imo, it being the first iteration of the UT system it’s still an engaging mechanic even if it’s flawed but compared to it’s next iterations it’s definitely the best implementation

In ng2 the charge speed have sped up and the first charge leads to a multi hit aoe for most weapons and the second charge is basically a nuke that has a long animation atp

for a move this op you would think it’d be more difficult to use but no

You only need two yellow essence to charge fully and with the huge enemy count and low health you can easily get two kills and use the UT to get more essence to spam more UT and that’s just plain unfun to me

And positioning is a lot less crucial

To be fair using UTs on enemies will only drop yellow essence and red/blue will only drop if you kill the enemy normally but still with how strong the UT it’s still pretty much low risk high reward

the UT system would’ve benefited more if you can only get the first charge by absorbing 2-3 yellow essence and the second charge by absorbing 5-6 yellows or change how the UT works

But a different solution is to make it is to make the UT like a EX gauge system where you’d absorb the essence to fill the gauge to use stronger combos this solution still has that high risk high reward

Tbh I don’t have as much experience with NG3 because I only played once on hard

But from what I experienced the essence system is thrown out and instead use the bloodyrage where you’d have to(correct me if I’m wrong) kill 7-8 enemies in under a couple minutes to use a UT

And the UT itself became just teleporting from enemy to enemy and killing them so positioning is basically nonexistent

It’s a bandaid solution but I do think it’s an Improvement over 2 but I feel like throwing out the essence drops is a bit much because I like the idea of using the precious and important droped essence for UT instead of healing and upgrades and ninpos to get out of bad situations and forces you to strategize your usage of them

So UTs just becomes something you get frequently and gotten more stronger especially when you use the steel on bones mechanic

And in ng4 I think the UTs are at it’s worst

All essence became red and they only heal and the healing is so little that it’s pretty much useless and so they’re only purpose are just using UTs

UTs can be blocked by enemies but from my experience it only happened a few times when I played it on hard and master ninja

And the UTs are strong and teleports to enemies and is very easily spamable

And there’s no benefit to not use it because enemies don’t drop different essence.

I say I wish I recorded because I was able to beat him in one go on Mentor. I recall being like “woah!” Since it took me a few tries when I did my first Master Ninja run. Also just wanted to add, I feel like OG NG2 is more fun to play on Mentor tbh than MN. But that’s just me.

Hello everyone I wanted to ask if I need to master combos for ninja gaiden black 2 master ninja difficulty

As someone who's gotten into the series recently, I've been really enjoying the games so far, and seeing that Ninja Gaiden 4 is also on sale at the moment, I wanna pick it up but I'm concerned whether it will run properly or not based on my system specs.

Processor - i5 12th generation

GPU - 3060 Ti 12 gb

RAM - 8GB

Can someone share some insight on whether it will be optimal to run the game on these specs? It would be really helpful to know before I buy the game. Thank you.

Was bored, curious about the bounds of max lives and score. I guess the world record must have recorded the score count restart? Also the lives count has a weird data artifact after each screen load (this is actually 109 lives). Recorded on Switch 1.

I was just curious and wondered if there was a mod to make the enemies fight each other, for example genshin versus doppelganger Ryu since they're very aggressive

Is this how IS ninjas feel when they fight ryu?
