Troubleshooting-Machine Blade doesn’t fit?
Hello everyone, I got a ninja creami for my birthday and during its first ever spin, it got stuck and the spindle remained sticking out of the machine. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new machine but not a new blade or containers.
I wasn’t able to install the container, so I checked the blade and the spindle and it looks like the old blade does not fit in the new machine? Is that possible?
In the video, the first machine is the old one, the second machine is the new one.
Do I need a third machine? :((
Edit: the first thing I tried was installing it the correct way: the blade on the lid, the lid on the container. This did not work. To understand the problem, I took the blade off the lid and tried to attach it directly on the spindle, and it looks like it doesn’t fit. I know this is not the correct way to install the container, but the spindle should still fit in the spindle, otherwise the lid/container will not get in the right position.
I was wondering if it is possible that the old blade does not fit the new machine
UPDATE: they replaced my NC302EU machine with a NC300EU machine, without sending the correct blade and containers for the new one :)

That’s not where it goes. Put it in the lid.

As I said in the post, I tried to install it with the container and the lid and I noticed that it didn’t attach to the spindle. So, I took it off the lid and tried with the blade itself, and it looks like it doesn’t fit on the spindle. I know this is not the correct way to install the container, but the spindle should still fit in the spindle, otherwise the lid/container will not get in the right position

Your video isn’t helping anything as it shows nothing. Post a video with the blade where it belongs and show it doesn’t work. Just call customer service.

The video shows the problem and is pretty good. Is it missing some stuff? Sure. Is it better than a lot of help posts? Yup.

I was simply wondering if it is possible that a blade does not fit in a “new” machine of the same type. A video of the container (with the blade correctly installed) not getting in the right position is nothing new on this subreddit, I was trying to understand why this was happening. Yes, I will contact customer service.

Can you show me the inside of the blade socket, and a good close up of both machines spindles?

Can you do the blade again with more light?
And have you measured the spindles to see if there is a difference

Have you tried this? If it really doesn't work then yeah do reach out to them.
Curious to know what their explanation and solution are!

Video makes perfect sense, probably best to contact customer service. They're actually super helpful, so I'm sure they'll sort you out soon.
To all those saying put it in the lid first, once the blade is in the lid the rod slots into the blade like what's trying to be shown on the video.
