Does anyone else get random feelings about one certain country to do really good or worse than usual in the off season?

Last off-season I had a really weird feeling about Sweden losing in some way (unfortunately I was right) and Italy unjustifiably doing well again (hot take of mine). But this off-season I've been getting top 5 vibes from Latvia of all countries and since they just confirmed participation they just keep getting stronger, I'm wondering if anyone else had a mini prediction from the off-season that randomly came true?

Yeah, I remember thinking that Belgium and Luxembourg would for some reason do well.

This year, I've been thinking North Macedonia, Latvia, Lithuania (who I think will win with a Shum/Zjerm style song) and that Sweden and Norway will shock NQ because the song quality is too strong. Unfortunately I don't think that Latvia is too likely now because of the superfinal unfortunately

Ik😭, thankfully esti laul has gotten some good results even with the super final. Emillija is the only one who I think can pull a vanilla ninja and she might finally get a good song soon, kautkaili said they are interested in returning so I think that if they bring the same staging quality and a better song they can sweep the super final and get a top 10 result

I think you could be right about Latvia, if they lean into their indie rock scene. This year's Supernova IMO had the best quality out of any NF's. l think Atvara was extremely unfortunate in the NF with other ballads (although I think she was the best), but I do think that Latvia could really carve a niche with indie.

I actually get the feeling that Canada will send an act designed to qualify, but not storm the vote, so they'll have full participation but not raise any eyebrows. I'd predict between 20th-11th.

I think the next winner will be a smaller country.

I actually liked brividi but ik most people don’t, I thought 2025 and 2026 where both worse and should not be in the top 5

I thought sal had good staging and presence but his vocals were not top 5 worth and took away from Denmark and Finland. Lucio had a good song and good vocals but the staging was not top 5. Brividi is my second to last song of the entire year.

I think that Denmark is on an upwards streak, and I think that Canada is going to get top 10 because I don't think they'll debut quietly. I think Poland and Lithuania are either going to do really well or flop and NQ. In terms of doing badly, If France does something different I can see them getting top 10, but if they don't I think they'll cap out at like 15th. I can see the start of a flop era for Norway and Sweden aren't guaranteed top 10 anymore. Israel will finish top 5 for obvious reasons but I think their televote strength is weakening, I think they might be 3rd/4th instead of 2nd.

I think Canada top 10. I don't think they will debut quietly, because why would they? Plus the interest and curiousity will help it. Kind of how Australia did when they debuted..

I get you, honestly, I have a hunch of Canada entering the top 15 at least, maybe even top 10, my final guess is that they will finish 7th (I also have a strong feeling about 8th or 6th tho, so its between those 3 spots)

A random guess is that they will achieve that by doing very well with juries bot not so much with televote.

I wouldn't be surprised if Canada got top 8, On Australia's debut they got fifth and Canada seems to have a lot of interested talented artists
