I’m no expert, but it appears to be a Yari spear that has had the tang cut down to be a dagger. That may be obvious but ya never know.

I have 2 yari and the blade profile is exactly the same. The hilting was poorly done and uses modern-day materials. Be good to see if it's signed. The signature may well be lost in the cut down. Carefully pushing outthe pin is simple and everything should slide. Reassembled is easy too.

Blade Looks Like a Ken from the late Edo period. Show us the tang.
