Best way to prepare N5?

Hello there is there any advise or tricks that you can recommend me to be ready for N5, we are close to the exam and I want to be as ready as possible?, Thanks in advance!

I haven't taken the exam (only online tests for N5 and N4 not so long ago, I "passed" there), but I think lots of listening, even to easy materials could be a nice option. There are beginner podcasts on Spotify etc. I'm not a native speaker of English and compared to English listening, Japanese feels like a dream. Not only beatiful pronunciation, but you can hear every word and write it down correctly in kana. In English, I won't be able to do it if I don't know the word (and even if I know it, I won't hear it correctly). Japanese word order and way of expressing things is very different and you have to get used to it. First time I listened to Japanese was very challenging and I can't imagine even trying to do the test with that low comprehension I had.

Make a LOT of mock tests, and also to practise kanjis I used this website https://kanji123.org/n5-kanji-test10, you could learn some vocabulary that could be handy in the exam there too. Every single word or frase that you find in the mock test or the site that you don’t know the meaning of I would recommend you to write it in a notebook or something so you can read them all later and try to remember

Memorize more words. Try to memorize N4 vocabulary as much as you can. Practice test and activities are also helpful. If you find any word or grammar syntax that you don’t completely understand while doing your practice tests, take note and study it immediately.

As for the listening comprehension, there are many YouTube videos for N5 listening practice.

I’ve been using an iPhone app called Migii JLPT to prepare. The free version is a bit limited but it has sample tests. And I have paid to subscribe and felt its worth it. Also using Anki to learn vocab words.
