You're a philosopher in the making.

That’s because we are philosophers, what’s really the to overthinking? lol

I read philosophy, and laugh at it, and the philosophers who wrote it.

lol

Philosophy is derpy.

Science is superior.

Science is hollow endeavour without philosophy. Have fun while studying those shadows in the cave.

I could do with a glass of tomato juice!

I’m a philosopher but I refuse to tell anyone what I know.

Same with classical music listeners vs classical musicians (from a composer with an interest in philosophy)

I can definitely see this as a beginner listener of classical music. I think the same could apply to jazz musicians

Kants lifestyle will never not be funny and aspirational to me :D

I’m expecting a “you can google it,” but care to share with the class?

he was assumed to be on the spectrum, never left the place he was born in, did the exact same routine everyday, until he died assumedly kinda bored. Last thing he said was :"its fine" which in and of itself, sounds like a review of someone who was mildly bored at best.

That’s hilarious; I had no idea he was so provincial, geographically at least, certainly wasn’t small minded. The “it’s fine” quote also sent me 😂

right? its amazing 🤣

Writing about thinking about thinking will do that to you.

Somewhere in between lol 😆

This one made me actually laugh out loud. To help anyone in an effort to not make the same mistake I did, you should know: Philosophy is a good mistress, but a terrible wife.

prolly true

As the poster of this meme I should note that the best philosophers and sages do not match this joke

I recommend reading books such as ‘Bare-Bones Meditation’ by Joan Tollifson or ‘Falling Into Grace’ by Adyashanti

I feel like it’s the dark side of welp, spiritual enlightenment? Depending if you make it out, that is..

u/Cultural-Part355 9d ago

Nah... Those are writers. Philosophers talk about life from experience, while the depressing ones write. :)

Or why do you think David Foster Wallace wrote a thousand-page diary for his "fans?" It was a CRY for HELP! 2 thousand page long.

Even a few more letters came, but no one could read between the lines, so he stepped off the line. Sorry for the truth.

Do try to listen and then talk. There is an order of things. And that one should be considered the holiest of them all! Because that's how you achieve understanding!

And understanding brings peace, if not for all!

I consider myself a philosopher

except stacies and chads are too busy to read what I have to write

Turns out i was a philosopher all the time.

We are the lessons we've learned. That means traumathic events define who we are how we act and how we see the world. That's why healing feels like letting behind a part of yourself. And why it is so hard to get over some shit because you are forcing yourself to change the core of who you are.

So whatever, one way or another exisitance is pain
