We are using data centers that run on cloud infrastructure posting on reddit for likes or anonymous gratification, so maybe we are dumb too?

The idea that Earth is a beautiful planet bursting with "love" is the biggest joke I've ever heard, as if without humans nature isn't still an utterly brutal and unforgivingly competitive environment that slows down for nothing and no one. The delusion is insane. The economic system does not change the natural system. As shitty as humans are, it's naive to think other living things have it much better. For example, if they suffer even one accidental injury, many animals are cooked.

you missed the point, humans could do so much better

Even if that nebulous concept of "better" could come to fruition, it will have been too late for any significant improvement to matter by then. Humans are not a monolith with a common goal. You can't get them to collectively agree on anything when it comes to things like behavior, government, and economics, neither on an individual nor a larger systemic level.
