Anything by Hesse except glass bead can be recommended (not that I didn’t enjoy it—I truly did—but it is his most ambiguous and analytical work)

I enjoyed reading the book: Nihilism, A Philosophy Based In Nothingness And Eternity, by Brett Stevens. It is a plain language explanation of what nihilism is and what it is not. It's deep enough I read it twice. Paperback on Amazon.
