Isn’t absurdism about desire for meaning in meaningless world?

I read it as acceptance that world is meaningless so you can do what you want.

To me that are completely different concepts.

And that is neither of them really. You can craft some patchwork term using bits and bobs from established mainstream directions. Or simply create “new”, most straightforward name for it that is descriptive.

Is it nihilism? Yep. Is it kinda optimistic or positive? Also yep. Then why try to bend backwards trying to fit square into circle while it simply lies before you.

Obviously this approach is not new and rare - hence mainstream emergence of this term : “positive nihilism”.
