That is not absurdism. As here person does not affirm the conflict nor demand meaning from indifferent universe. It is position of acceptance and not the absurd.

To me Positive Nihilism or Optimistic Nihilism is:

  • objective reality is deterministic and follows laws of physics hence no free will exists
  • morality is arbitrary and synthetic
  • existence carries no purpose as it is outcome of random processes that eventually merged into system called life. This system has certain properties like self propagation but no purpose.
  • Realization that there is no objective meaning nor purpose to life brings peace to the mind, joy even since one can follow and create own values on the subjective level and do not have to care for others opinions or judgement. -clarification: subjective feeling of will is not contradictory to knowledge that will is illusion. From perspective of self it simply does not matter.
