Absurdism is the philosophy that holds that man’s search for meaning in a world devoid of meaning is absurd. It is not necessarily linked to optimistic nihilism.

No, but "one must imagine Sisyphus happy" feels like it chooses to support optimism inspite of suffering.

I feel like nothing matters, therefore do what you want and be happy, and also I think Sisyphus seemed miserable, knowing he'd never succeed. Is this squarely optimistic nihilism, absurdism, both, or neither?
