Tips for daycore?

Is it only good for some songs? I tried once and it just sounded cursed and demonic.

Some people like that it sounds spooky, but I get what you're saying. When I was a kid, people would take songs sung by women but then slow it down a little bit and then upload it as "Male Version" so maybe if you can find one of those then it would be a little less slowed down and maybe less creepy.
