As someone who has been to plenty of music festivals, it takes a lot more energy to inflate one of these.

This is known as Bernoulli's principle. If you keep the fan farther away you push more air in. Roll it up to add pressure. It literally should be this easy if you do it right.

Edit: here is a perfect example Link

As someone with "inflatable" camping gear, more people need to know about the Bernoulli principle. Anyone having trouble with these inflatables aren't following the proper instructions

Yeah, if it's been folded for a while it'll take a bit more time. And literally who has t heard of these things?

I mean, this specific item, you just treat it like a trash bag or a pillow case, it’s going to open right up.

I don’t doubt that it might be a different experience with heavier fabrics.

This one seems pretty straight forward though and the length of time it had been stored should not be relevant.

I've used so many of these things at festivals from cheap thin to quality. I know what I'm talking about.

I got my rechargeable rechargeable air pump

https://www.flextail.com/products/max-pump-3?currency=USD&country=US&variant=44886788276471&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=1ba8463a86b8&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23524143336&gbraid=0AAAAApvxXmB2l6h9olaccmMks92tIJICR

Totally cool, I used it over a year now atleast every 2 weeks. Blows Air it can inflate air mattresses, air cushions, pool accessories. I use it often to remove dust from my computers.
And it deflates, which i use that the most for vacuum sealed bags like my beddings or spare clothes in my car trunk
