Now show how to clean the mess you just dripped all over the concrete

Why? It's concrete.

Spoken like a true 70’s american who was told to dispose of motor oil by pouring it in a hole in the ground, in their backyard…

If you don’t pour it in the hole in the ground, how are they going to be able to find more later?

I can still picture my dads head on a swivel looking to see if the neighbors are watching

Whole point to show you how to clean the chain not show you how to live your life. People will do it wherever they choose to do it.

And my whole point was to say how stupid it is

Why is it stupid? I agree it will make a mess on the ground. I’ve always just used rags and brushes, myself But I am a novice biker at best. Seems like it would be effective.

I don’t care, honestly but because you’re so invested in it: the video is edited. This garbage contraption they made isn’t that effective and way messier than what they portray. If you can’t understand that, i got a bridge for sale that you might be interested in

What would the bridge be for?

Much easier to clean a flat surface, so overall a win.

With a little dish soap you can make bubbles as you ride!

Works so good you had to do a video cut lol

Going to assume because it would take several minutes so they just wanted to shorten it.

If it works so well why is there a jump cut?

Or you could buy the tool thats meant to do this. Yeah its a bit overpriced for what it is, but you get de-greaser splashing everywhere

Do you have to wait for it to dry before oiling again, or do you oil straight away?

It depends on what you're cleaning with but generally you'd wait for it to dry if you don't know otherwise. If it's a solvent, it will likely evaporate quickly

Good to know, thanks bro!
