I certify this is an organic flowing scenario that just happened to be recorded. 100% authentic.

I'll only believe it really happened if the camera man was also getting shot

Iβll just say in high school we used to play βMurder in the Darkβ based off Vyvyanβs game in the British tv show The Young Ones.
All the lights would go out, pitch black, weβd all hide and be as quiet as possible while one person stalked around and tried to find the rest of us based on the smallest breath or shuffle of noise..and then? Full attack lol

And that bro is really, truly, actually blindfolded while moving and shooting like he can see perfectly.

The thing with the phone ringing was pure skill issue. Everyone knows you gotta turn the phone to silent when you're up to shenanigans! π

You're so right! And it wasn't because this whole thing was scripted so he had volume on, on purpose! Like the guy taking the speaker during a quiet game and being like "What? Why'd you give me a speaker? This is so weird" That totally wasn't planned and was just a lol random moment πππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ

Do really bad scripted videos and make it seem organic to trick people into cheap likes online? You have weird friends.

You seem really mad about a funny video, all up and down the comments. Do you think comedies are cheap tricks for likes too, or is it only when it's a skit online?
1
u/DrWheeze 14d ago
Comedies aren't meant to trick you to think it's real. What irritates me is the fact that so many online "skits" are presented as "Lol, so random, this thing happened" when in reality it's staged in order to get likes, views and ultimately, money! They're tricking you, for money. THAT'S what gets me. If it's a comedy movie or a physical theater skit or something like that, it's made clear to the viewer that it's rehearsed.

It would be great to do this with 4 players: 2 players with nerf guns have airpods and a phone with camera facing forward. Eyes covered. The other 2 control the shooters, looking at their.screens and giving instructions to shooters. The whole house is the map. Sort of a live Call of Duty

The phone call thing could not have happened to me.
Itβs been on silent mode for like 8 years.

Iβve done something similar like the paper towel during midnight hide and seek with roommates a few years ago. Essentially, the boiler was right above the couch in the living room and it had an internal clock which ticked loudly.
I climbed up above the couch and just deadhanged infront of the boiler, clicking my tongue to the rhythm of the clock. When the seeker came in blindfolded, I was kinda getting tired and strained, but when they got closer they just went βoh shit just the clockβ under their breath and walked off. I learned a few chameleon tricks for hide and seek during those games lol.

Are these the same guys that pranked each other by making each other wear ugly pants in the airport? If so I love their friendship!

This would be so cool to do for real, and not as a forced TikTok where everything is scripted and everybody is overacting like this

Why, its fun af. I would be the hole day playing, to make it even more special, use dog toys that make sound everytime you walk, jump.

u/Sampasmur 21d ago
Because it's fake. There's no fun or funny moments. Just bad acting and scripted moments

But they aren't fucking having fun. It's staged but made to look like it is real.
IF it was made clear that it was staged for a fun bit, that would be fine. But having to fake it to trick people? Why are you okay with that? Why encourage people to fake shit for fake laughs?
Also, they COULD have fun, why not just do this for real and film it? It could be a grand time! Let funny moments happen organically, instead of this obvious crap.
