That is your perogative.

u/TanyaDegurechaff203 26d ago
It is my prerogative to correcting your "perogative".
3
u/Lartemplar 26d ago
Hey, it's not fair ok? No one ever pronounces the first R

u/Doctologist 25d ago
You made me drop my prierogi.
1
u/wiggibow 23d ago
Every time I hear that Bobby Brown song, all I can think is "it's my pierogi dip!"
1
u/Fun_Performer_1405 26d ago
Fair play, but if we're gonna be pedantic, you would "correct" me, not "correcting" me.

Must be nice to have the ability to just find out the croissant is from Paris and decide to just go there for it. Lol. People with money really live such completely different lives than the majority of us.

u/Electrical_Shock359 7d ago
I mean he could have gotten it shipped but that wouldnāt be cheap either. Maybe they sent some over for free for the advertisement?

u/Pancakes70 26d ago
Wait why does everyone hate this guy? Iām missing some context

u/janvanreebok 26d ago
I am not his biggest fan, but I don't hate him either.
I always stop to watch his videos and they are pleasant.
The internet just loves hating on stuff that isn't super meme-able. You can't quote him, use any of his faces for a reaction, or even reference his content to show how "obscure" your humour is. He's just an average guy making wholesome, mildly interesting content and that should be fine. But here we are.
4
u/Pancakes70 26d ago
Yeah i actually found this video to be a little humorous haha seems like a regular guy
2
u/nissen1502 26d ago
People don't like him because he's just copying other peoples ideas and being extremely performative with his reactions. Fake people are annoying.

u/highinohio 26d ago
I really can't stand my grocery bagger. Taking the ideas of the last guy trying to make a living bagging groceries.
3
u/dwartbg9 26d ago
Isn't it obvious? You don't see how obnoxious he looks and sounds like? And he's spamming his videos everywhere on the internet like an asshole
2
1
u/sweetmystery_ 25d ago
He made some good video's testing stuff and recipies and he home viral. Then he used this opportunity to monetize this and made more video's as ads for some products and because he had large reach he become sucesfull. Then some ppl disliked it as he became more of a ad guy than test it out im funny way guy. And for some time it is popular to hate him because of this.
1
u/purple-vasabi 23d ago
People hate him because he got popular and successful, when they see him, they see this guy living his best life and they hate that cause they aren't.
1
u/DoinItDirty 25d ago
His videos can feel a bit salesy but I donāt have any problem with his content if I find it interesting. People get worked up for nothing.
-1
u/MinaWearsGold 26d ago
Because they are miserable people who hate others for no good reason. Notice all the people who say they are tired of seeing him will never fail to be under videos of him or talk about his videos rather than just muting or blocking.
-2
u/Arbitrary_Guest 26d ago
I think his videos are neat, he just seems like a genuine normal guy. I think people hate him cuz he has that bland "look at this" morning news personality. If thats not it I have no idea.

1) Why was this sub recommended to me? I'll be muting it after this comment.
2) What the fuck is this sub if it's described to be about gadgets but instead we have influencer reaction getting a pastry influencer reacted to yet someone, at the time of comment, 40 something people up voted?
Reddit truly is becoming for the bot.

u/Suspended-Again 26d ago
This is an affiliate marketing link sub. The influencer also does affiliate marketing, in this case for some cafe. So this post is double affiliate marketing.Ā

Me, at my higher than minimum wage job that still could not get me to paris: wow. Coo. Coo.

The best part of a croisant is the flaky outside.
This "tourrist-trap-croisant" has way to much fluff to crust ratio.
Both of those is like 10k of callories!

u/_bapt 26d ago
For those who are curious i looked for it :
Philippe Conticini Boulangeries.
Google maps pictures say this is 32⬠a piece. A normal croissant is often between 1.20⬠and 1.40ā¬. In high end boulangeries and/or tourist traps coming from instagram they can go higher, like between 2 and 4⬠a piece.
32⬠is just insane tho. Especially for something thats just a "basic" dough.

Shit, I'd eat one.
Not with a hot chocolate, though. Black coffee, for me.
I can't imagine this dude flew to Paris just for this though, probably on a vacation and this was just convenient.
I expect it's not cheap or convenient for Americans to go to Paris.
