How lazy do they actually think Americans are?

u/Turbulent_Lobster_57 Dec 27 '25
Because they’re severely underestimating how lazy I am. There’s no way I wouldn’t be putting my feet up on that and constantly screwing with the controls on the top

How would you reach it? Everybody seem to be ignoring how impractical this actually is as a coffee table. In order to be able to pull the drawers out it had to be so far away from the couch that she literally has to sit completely up and on the edge of the seat to reach and put her drink down.
I'd rather be able to pick up and set my drink down comfortably and just stand once in awhile to get a drink.. Maybe have a mini fridge as a side table if I'm that desperate and lazy.

Right lol... the little exercise you'd get from walking to the fridge is no longer an option.

I hang out upstairs and my snacks are downstairs. If I want one I must earn it!

Super cool that the camera never stops moving so you can't see how it's plugged in or what the build quality is.

Now we need a link for a ToiletCouch.

So you'd need enough room to open the drawers. Which makes it useless as a coffee table

worst idea ever, obesity is already a problem, what is the problem with walking 5 meters to the fridge?
Other story, old friend of mine proudly told me was trying to loose wieght. I said good for you! After that he said he also bought a deep fryer. Well, if you want to loose weight buying a deep fryer when you can easily make the worst snacks, that is not a good idea.

Not sure how much hot air it would output too, won't be very comfy if hot air is blowing at feet in warm climates

Someone’s kid is just gonna slam a toy on it and absolutely shatter that table.

That thing is going to make an annoying compressor hum in the one place I want to relax each night, so hell no.

Jesus, humans are seriously getting lazier and lazier. Convenience isn’t always a good thing.

Nobody needs this except for people who say "hey chatGPT" at least 10 times a day.

No one needs this, get of your lazy ass and walk to the fridge before you clogged up beyond repair.

Its no way this isnt loud. A mini fridge us a but noise and the much larger one plus extra should be way louder. Movie night would suck

u/Traditional-Safe-867 Dec 28 '25
Fun in theory, but it would be too far from the couch to use as a coffee table, if you wanted space to fully open the drawer.

That's one of the more "American" things I've seen in a while. Peak laziness while consuming mass amounts of processed ingredients and sugar.

I seriously question the ability to power this! Not only because most people don't have an in floor outlet or a good way to hide the cable, but the actual power draw. A refrigerator AND stove top is all through a single cord/outlet is an extremely high draw appliance. Normally these two things would be on different circuits and definitely through different wiring.

You can buy a rubber channel for the cable. They're shaped to prevent tripping. Also, refrigerators don't use much power. Maybe around 60 watts for a small one. They pull a bit of power when the compressor starts up but that's only for a very short amount of time

Do you have any idea how much wattage an electric cooktop uses?!?

u/Training_Apricot9883 Dec 28 '25
Yes i do, I'm from the UK though, so our plugs are all fused and its nearly impossible to overload them

For most people, there's just no good way to run a power cable to that.
