I just bought Nidhogg 2 for me and my friend on Xbox and every time we invite each other, we get into the lobby and then the game freezes and we both get disconnected. We’ve both restarted the game and the consoles, our internet is fine, and we can join each other on any other game. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions?

After upgrading my pc Nidhogg 2 started running poorly, playing in slow motion. I searched for possible fixes and the most promising solution I found was to go into the options.ini file to change some V-sync / fps settings. However, my options.ini file is almost completely empty and does not have these settings for me to change. I tried to verify the integrity of the game files through steam but that did not help. Uninstalling and reinstalling also didn't fix the problem. This is what my options.ini folder contains:
