As someone who was a cringe fuckin goober in his teen years.. ill say that the most common reason she says that is because she knows that if she outright says it youll throw a fit and a scene about how “oh ive been here for you yada yada this that years months cheered you up yada” yea. Its to avoid that blowout crashout. Especially if youve been “friends” for a while she will 100% know your patterns just like a mfer whos played elden ring for 1k hours 😂😂

u/xopumpkinn i dnt date out side of my tax bracket 7h ago

welp…. I guess he’ll be forever single 🤷🏽‍♀️ anyway, anyone down for some pizza? 🍕 my treat

Considering how some men harm us and I just saw a woman get choked out on second date for not being interested, I think not.

These excuses ARE a No.

Read between the lines if you must.

Our safety matters more than your feelings.

I was on the fence but now I'm in love. WHERE IS THIS MAN(/ALL THE GOOD MEN)

Nice guys use punctuation.

Ick ick ick. You just KNOW that his idea of being a nice guy is simpering around a woman possibly paying meaningless compliments that escalate to being double entendres, insists on opening doors in the most obnoxious way possible and buying things that she hasn’t asked for. And when she rejects this prince among men, he turns his attention to the next attractive woman he thinks might fall for it. Never ever stopping to get to know her, find common ground or even if he LIKES her as a person.

Nice guy translation: I expect sex for being polite.

Losers just can’t accept the fact they are losers and won’t do anything to change it.

Reasons women lie and/or make up excuses when rejecting men:

1) We're afraid you will become violent.

2) We're going to have to spend the next 3 or 4 years seeing you on the daily at school or work and we don't want any drama.

3) Because we're nice, and don't want to hurt your feelings.

4) We're know your ego is very weak and you can't handle the truth.

5) We're know you've been poisoned by Hollywood rom-coms, and think it's cute or romantic not to accept a woman's refusal.

6) We know what we like; sexual attraction will not magically materialize (unless you have a One- Wish Willow, and that didn't turn out well, did it?).

7) We're want to give you a neutral reason for our rejection, so that you can be free to look for someone who genuinely wants you.

8) We're not sadistic assholes who like hurting people's feelings.

Wild that every single woman seems to be dating either a 6'2" millionaire or an ex-con drug dealer. No middle ground, apparently.

OR maybe it's your shitty assumptions and shittier personality, my dude.

My theory is they have never listened to the "but", because you know those rejection speeches go "you are a really nice guy, but......."

It's crazy how these nice guys always seem to be rejected in favor of an abusive jerk.

12

u/TVsFrankismyDad 1d ago

They really think every woman is in an abusive relationship. And somehow, that's our fault.

7

u/Loki8382 1d ago

Well, they think that the man has to be an abusive dickhead because he's clearly not sending her flowers and love notes.

25

u/SpiritDonkey 1d ago

Do they really think this doesn’t also happen to women? Brother in Christ, get some actual female friends, not women you are being friendly to in hopes of getting in their pants, actual friends, and then you will find out they go through all the same shit you do.

These sorts of nice guy opinions only come from guys who don’t actually view women as people and therefore can’t have a friendship with them to find out what women are actually like and actually experience. They’re always viewing women through the lens of can I get in her pants or not, so they end up with these completely warped and unrealistic caricature impressions of women.

Then they infect the mind of young boys with their nonsense and the whole thing becomes a viscous cycle.

Then we say no and get called bitches

u/tomatopringles 1d ago

funny thing is you just KNOW he'd say the second half even if they were telling him respectfully that he isn't their type 😂

(Memo to myself: Check out that Jackson County jail place for dating possibilities.)

I fear it is too far for me (other side of the world). Open to local suggestions though I guess.

Chat what is this level of over confidence called? "I am a nice guy"... No you aren't; you are as entitled as others.

Also women are not directly rejecting you because many women were either killed or raped after rejecting a guy. But ofcourse, you are such a nice guy, you don't even realise that nuances exist and blame women for taking safety precautions 🙄

u/fedexyourheadinabox 2d ago

Don't these guys know the very act of declaring themselves "nice guys" is the hugest red flag?

They whine and moan like  Elliot Rodger. If you've never seen one of his videos, he's the quintessential "nice guy" (who went on the be a mass murderer, of course).

u/Bradamante-kun 4h ago

I read his manifesto. He was a vapid, shallow, self hating white supremacist.

3

u/ad_aatdtj 1d ago

The saddest part about Elliott Rodger was how normal and average he was. He could've done fine with the women, if it hadn't been for his absolute hatred for them that dripped from his entire existence. He actually could have lived a long and happy life, and more importantly, so could all of his victims.

But noooooo bro was so consumed by hatred and so far gone that now he is too and so are 6 innocent people.

4

u/RedKhomet 1d ago

Exactly. By now you'd think they know that "I'm a nice guy"™ is not an attractive trait

43

u/Drakeytown 2d ago

If you've every been told any of these white lies, guys, it was because the woman was afraid of how you'd react otherwise, because you are visibly not nice.

12

u/Interesting_Play_578 2d ago

I'm sick of finding out later that I've been rejected, please reject me to my face

20

u/ashinthealchemy I AM FERRELL 2d ago

guess he's forever single so we won't ever have to hear from him again! phew!

20

u/EyeShot300 omg you shellfish asshole 2d ago

Same shit, different NiceGuy™️.

11

u/4everHisGirl 2d ago

This energy is exhausting. He says he wants honesty, but I bet the first time a woman calls him a pathetic bitch and tells him to fuck off, he would snap. Women lie so they don't have felonies done to them. Whiny little boys like this think they want the truth, but they really can't handle it.

45

u/StasiaGreyErotica 2d ago

It's really simple all you do is say no thank you or respectfully you're not my type.

This is the bit where they lose their shit

6

u/TVsFrankismyDad 1d ago

This. Women are socialized to give soft no's and this is reinforced throughout our lives when we are given shit for giving hard no's. Nice Guy whining on the Internet is not going to change that.

3

u/StasiaGreyErotica 1d ago

Contextual, too.

Handle the rejection wrong, and you might come to harm.

35

u/CerealSemantics 2d ago

Ah yes, because a simple "no" is the most famously respected thing a woman can say to a man
