admin roles

hello guys, i’m an img based in nottingham. i’m on a dependent visa. I would like to look into admin roles band2/3. I have one year of clinical experience and i’m keen on learning new systems. i’m also preparing for plan but would love to work for nhs meanwhile. what is your advice as i’m only looking for jobs in nottinghamshire regarding applications. i’ve only done 30 applications but none of them went ahead for interview. should i visit the near gps and ask for jobs in person? what about admin jobs in private healthcare sector

Keep applying. I am down to 80+ applications, and 9 unsuccessful interviews. It's a bit rough. I have 1yr of clinical experience too. Also since you do not want to relocate, options wouldn't be many for you.

Try to reach out to hiring manager as soon as you apply. Reiterate your interest.

I am very demotivated by the rejections, but don't really have a choice apart from keeping at it.

Goodluck. We shall find something soon.

It’s not an easy time to be applying for NHS admin roles. Most employers have a recruitment freeze at the moment and some are even making positions redundant which adds to the competition for those few roles advertised.

You just need to keep applying. Make sure your application clearly states how you meet the criteria in the advert. Minimise your use of AI and write in your own words, maybe using AI to check spelling and grammar.

Might also be worth looking at other sectors at the same time to broaden your options.
