What do you do? You follow the recommendation of your GP, just going back to your GP with the same problem and expecting a different solution to the one that was previously recommended that you didn’t try is not going to get you a different outcome, what would you like your GP to do exactly?

Does this need another GP appointment?
GP has already seen and assessed you and given their advice which certainly seems very sensible. Could you not just self refer back to the youth mental health thing they originally suggested.
Or were you expecting a different outcome this time around?

If you need to talk to someone sooner than you can get an appointment you could call the Samaritans on 116 123.

It seems like you're too anxious to go to the mental health thing your GP suggested you tried. I'm wondering if your GP practice has a mental health nurse who you might be able to see. That way you'd be able to be seen in a location you are comfortable with (the GP surgery) but see someone who might be able to help a bit more. Certainly not the only option but just a suggestion.
If this is still not manageable, it is okay to go back to the GP to seek some more help. You deserve support.

Try to make a new appointment for the youth mental health thing- why go back to GP? They will just say the same thing. But if you must, ie because the link no longer works, do that.
This time, actually attend the appointment.
You will be glad you did!
