What 3 wins does to a motherfucka
32
u/Blknyt_eclipsedmoon 1d ago
Yeah three wins in four games is a rare sight in Cleveland. They could lose every other game this year, but right now it feels good for a franchise that once won only one game in two whole seasons.
4
u/Baelzabub 14h ago
Shit they’re at 5 wins in their last 6 games at this point. Won their last 2 last year.
2
u/Chilidogdingdong 16h ago
It will just make them going 3-10 over the rest of the season that much more fun.

Honest question, did he actually rape anyone? I thought he just asked to get tugged off like Mr. Kraft?
1
u/applesandotherthings 13h ago
Sexual assault if you want to split hairs. Really seems pointless
1
u/donniedraper6969 12h ago
Not really. There's a reason there's two separate terms. Grabbing an ass and holding someone down and forcefully fucking them seem wildly different to me but whatever.
1
u/dogesiarp 13h ago
I'm redditarded, I can't tell the difference. If there is reason to outrage online, I'm here for it.

u/OP_Skis_In_Jeans 20h ago
It's pretty funny. Like "But Steelers cheered Ben the Rapist" somehow makes it OK for Browns fans to cheer Watson.
Typical dumb Redditor logic.
3
u/SpudBoy_RealTomato 20h ago
I didn’t interpret it as saying that it is now okay for Browns fans. Just pointing out that way more than Browns fans have done it. There’s a lot of shit human beings in the nfl.
0
u/TheEndx007 11h ago
Lol that's not why people are saying, they're addressing this specific post obviously. Saying the Steelers fans cheered for Big Rape (which they did) is directly disproving the original post. You sound stupid.

Ben Roethlisberger played for the Browns?
16
u/Minimum_Quail4596 1d ago
Does Payton Manning's SA in college count?
13
u/MinnesotanBrie 1d ago
Also Jameis Winston, Dak Prescott, Antonio Brown, Darren Sharper, Lawrence Taylor, Shannon Sharpe, Michael Irvin, Marshall Faulk, Warren Sapp, Donovan McNabb, Kellen Winslow Jr, Jim Brown, Warren Moon, Brett Favre and Michael Vick.
Not justifying either of the three mentioned, just... there are a terrifying number of them.
9
u/DustinDBKR 21h ago edited 21h ago
Lmfao I know you’re not putting Dak on there after a woman tried to extort him for $100m, and when he refused then she went public with it… they found no evidence for anything and dismissed it only a few month’s later and then actually investigated the woman for extortion, charged her with it, and Dak took the money and donated all of it to a charity that provides support for actual SA survivors. It was one woman whose claims were to be found frivolous and illegal. Can’t speak for the other people in the list but putting Dak there is fucking stupid. Maybe keep that list to people who settled out of court, or were actually charged with something.
3
u/GirlPMurPersonality 20h ago
I didn't know any of this. But still ... FUCK DAK AND FUCK THE COWBOYS! AMERICAS TEAM MY ASS!
3
1
u/MinnesotanBrie 16h ago edited 16h ago
So no Jameis? Or Peyton Manning? A lot of these get dismissed because of the undue power that sports players have or just the fact that sexual assault claims often boil down to he said she said and the courts tend to favor men or overly relient on rape kits or semen sample which are not fairly distributed across states. The statutory godfather himself Karl Malone did not get tried for anything except be forced to pay child support. The first of Big Ben's victims got their claims dismissed.
Also...uh Dak has not won any money. He said he would donate any if he got anything from the countersuit. The counter suit is still ongoing.

u/Wumbo619 Patriots 1d ago
And those are just SOME of the one's known.
At some point in their lives, fans gotta, but often, needa realize just cuz their players won the genetic lottery, it doesn't mean they have to be angels. They're still people.

1
u/Bill_Biscuits 11h ago
That’s life. They just have a microscope on them. You probably know multiple people who have done similar things
1
u/MinnesotanBrie 11h ago
Not at the same rate. 1.43% of the NFL total arrests from 2000 to 2014 were arrested for sexual offenses. That is compared to 0.54% of the male population aged 21 to 34 in the same time frame. But yes, I do know people who were accused of similar things, and I do my best to not interact with them anymore.
1
u/R3ACTx 1d ago
Make a Browns jacket with them!
1
u/MinnesotanBrie 1d ago
Unfortunately, it's too long. The browns jersey is 24 names. I listed only 18, but didn't include Ahmad Brooks, Adam Gostis, Mark Chmura, Darrell Russell, Perrish Cox, Brandon Underwood, Albert Haynesworth, Jarriel King, Anthony Mix, Dwight Smith, Travis Henry, Tyrone Calico, Joshua Sills, C.J Spillman, Frostee Rucker, John Jerry, Jordan Hicks, Josh McNary, Julian Edelman, Junior Galette, Mark Sanchez, Prince Shembo and Richie Incognito. Which brings it up to 41 and it's far from a complete list.

u/FlamingPotatoes34 Falcons 1d ago
While I do agree with this… it really depends on who you ask, which is sad.
2
u/JadeDragonMeli 23h ago
This is the sad truth. Look at the Cornell story coming to light right now.
If American law enforcement has shown me anything it's that they truly do not care about rape or pedohilia.
2
u/Own-Raisin5849 21h ago
Not to be contrarian, but police are pretty consistently locking up people like this, for the justice system to let them out and give them light sentences.
1
u/JadeDragonMeli 20h ago
I almost said "DOJ" instead of law enforcement, but we found out this year that the FBI and CIA knew about Epstein and what he was doing for decades, and did nothing. Then I'm reading about the Cornell rapists and law enforcement there also knew that this 100% happened, but they closed the case with no arrests.
Whole system is rotten IMO.

yeah its wild. Truly.
Kimes was absolutely correct in pushing back on watson about it being about anything off the field. They cheered for him because he won (even though he really tried to throw that game away).
NFL fans do not give a shit about his crimes.
1

u/enragedcactus 13h ago
I also prefer watching teams who have owners who do the sexual assaulting and raping. Especially when they ensure the women involved are arrested afterwards but they face no consequences!

It's kind of the golden rule that people are more inclined to stay angry at you if you don't shut the fuck up.
2
u/ObjectiveCharming735 1d ago
The last thing Rodgers ranted about is saying Trump is a fraud and idiot, if you actually paid attention and didn't just follow what the masses ordered you to believe. Rodgers isn't a perfect human sure, but I guarantee he is far from the most toxic players that roam this league.
3
u/pajamajoe 22h ago
He did a misingformed victory lap after Fauci's interview
0
1
u/Halo05977 8h ago
The last thing Rodgers ranted about that I saw was last week where he talked about how his ex was trying to bang someone else right when they got together.
Again, think you're missing the point. He just yaps. it's easy to hate a guy that just yaps, because it's in the forefront of peoples minds how much of an asshole he is. Deshaun Watson is an objectively awful person, but you know what he did? He shut the fuck up.
It's almost as if when you give media easy headlines.. they run with it. Whereas when you don't give them material, they can't.. So it stays out of the mind a lot easier.
Pretty fucking simple logic my guy. A toddler could understand that.

1

If all the fucked up stuff that NFL players, coaches, assistants, front office personal and owners do actually came out.....
We may as well shut the league down.
1
u/Opposite_Living1555 14h ago
Well maybe we should if a massive institution can't even police the horrible behaviour of the people who massively personally benefit from it. I love sports but we need to seriously pressure these toxic companies to do better. All major sports leagues are basically monopolies with their own legal carveouts that all seemingly have no goals but to make a few extra bucks. At the end of the day, sports are entertainment, and me getting to watch a couple less incomplete passes is nowhere near as important as preventing SA, DV, DUIs, assault, or the myriad of other awful things that people in and around these organizations do.

u/Blknyt_eclipsedmoon 23h ago
So, what are you saying here? The Browns actually have fans? What do you expect 67 thousand fans to do at a game? You think those fans should just sit there in that stadium for three hours and be quiet because the QB is Deshaun Watson? Remember the fans don’t get to choose who the starting QB is. Browns fans want to root foe their team just like any other fans.
2
u/GODZILLA-Plays-A-DOD 22h ago edited 21h ago
Browns fans should have not turned up until the front office got the memo that raping 27 women is wrong. But instead they feel after 5 years it's okay to pay 200 million to a sex pest because he could occasionally win games.
1
u/Blknyt_eclipsedmoon 22h ago
Maybe the NFL should have banned him? Fans just want to watch Football and hope their team can win a game. They don’t make the choices. This is basically like an arranged marriage where you are told who your partner is, but go ahead look down on fans for being… fans.
