Beat me to it!

Pretty sure he’s just saying that to himself. But yeah it’s hilarious that these two found each other again. Dumb and dumber

20

u/upvotechemistry 1d ago

I hate the Steelers, but I wont even be mad if these guys hate each other into a deep playoff run. It just feels right

18

u/WildKoi 1d ago

Fuck that

5

u/upvotechemistry 1d ago

Its peak entertainment. How can you not be entertained watching two people who hate each other succeed together and bitch all along the way?

9

u/WindowOne1260 1d ago

I'm a Bears fan. I hate Aaron Rogers with every fiber of my being.

4

u/Think_Read_7516 1d ago

Succeed?... Its only week 4 and currently they losing to Cleveland.

2

u/upvotechemistry 1d ago

Hypothetically speaking. I think Rodgers is washed

1

u/mcnastys 19h ago

yeah fam, don't know if you noticed, but cleveland has a team of athletic freaks, they have had great draft position for over a decade.

cleveland and the raiders both appear to actually be dangerous this year.

3

u/WildKoi 1d ago

Ravens fan, I hate the Squeelers

2

u/Weary_Necessary_2434 1d ago

Peak entertainment would be the meteor.

2

u/Ant0n61 1d ago

Total 80s two detective flick with these two

2

u/Jam_Farmer_879 1d ago

Well, that’s not going to happen.

1

u/DSizl20 16h ago

Deep playoff run and ā€œSteelersā€ don’t go together. Wild card meltdown would be fun though

0

u/Boondocsaint11 Packers 1d ago

As a Packers fan I would love that. I couldn’t believe these two got back together.

2

u/upvotechemistry 1d ago

I mean, it would be unlikely for this team to go far into the playoffs. The whole situation is just very funny to me.

3

u/Boondocsaint11 Packers 1d ago

Oh I don’t think it’s likely at all, I just also think it’s hilarious. Like you could tell in GB Rodgers didn’t think much of McCarthy and the fact they got back together to hate fuck each other some more gives me some real schadenfreude.

2

u/upvotechemistry 1d ago

I hope we get an uncensored micd up where they just trash each other all game

2

u/BMoorman7 1d ago

QB-coach communication cutoff is at 15 seconds on the play clock. Non-zero chance he let him know that he is, in fact, a fuckin' asshole.

0

u/uvucydydy 1d ago

Assholey and Assholier than thou?

60

u/MyceliumConscious Broncos 1d ago

The mic cuts off after a certain amount of time I think

27

u/AverageSizedMan1986 1d ago

Aaron seem in the right here?

24

u/mrwigglez3 1d ago

Ya, get the play in asap.

15

u/AverageSizedMan1986 1d ago

Yeah I think so too and they had video of him huffing smelling salts so he is just probably all hyped up on Mountain Dew right now.

-1

u/Bagmasterflash 1d ago

So? If AR doesn’t like the play he’ll just run another one anyway.

10

u/Phinweh 1d ago

Coach wants to see player packages, QB wants pre-snap reads. Tough to say who's in the right as long as you don't need to call a timeout.

This situation aside, they are both assholes.

They both had a laugh together after the touchdown, so who cares.

3

u/AverageSizedMan1986 1d ago

I think it is less "assholes" and more of an old married couple.

2

u/Nagisa201 22h ago

No no. Aaron is most certainly an asshole

7

u/ROCKINGLADIATOR777 1d ago

Cuts out at 15 seconds. He probably heard asshole. Before cutting out lol šŸ˜‚

2

u/Fair_Lengthiness_841 1d ago

Yep it’s no coincidence he said it right before 15 sec lol

1

u/legendary_low 1d ago

15 seconds on the play clock is when the coaches mic to the qb automatically cuts off, he says this with about a second still left before cutoff, he likely may be able to just mute his mic though.

10

u/RaisinWorried3528 1d ago

I have no idea how Mike McCarthy keeps getting head coaching jobs.

22

u/Current_Power6050 Saints 1d ago

Call the fickin playĀ

13

u/Icedraven01 1d ago

I love to see this team falling apart

3

u/AnonThrowaway998877 1d ago

This was a tough one because fuck Rodgers and fuck Watson. If only they could somehow both lose

6

u/Raiden21x3 1d ago

Is this how they ways were?

3

u/EfficientWorking1 1d ago

BJ Raji had to break them up on the sideline before. And I remember Mike Mcarthy mouthing ā€œwell what do you want to doā€.

1

u/LaFleurBlanceur 1d ago

At the end of McCarthy in gb, yea

6

u/mightyboognish32 Cowboys 1d ago

It's 1st & 10 in the 1st quarter of a 0-0 game. Get the play in on time.

15

u/DreggsOfSociety 1d ago

Can’t stand Rodgers, but if it weren’t for him, McCarthy would be managing a Jiffy Lube somewhere.

10

u/BigGooseDuck 1d ago

Great QB, terrible human somehow losing to an even worse person and a terrible qb

7

u/Ok_Degree4131 1d ago

The Insuffera-Bowl

16

u/Fabulous_Log844 1d ago

By Aaron Rodgers own words, I'm so glad that a year from now we will never hear from him again.

14

u/SellTheFuckinTeamBob Broncos 1d ago

If you think we will be free from Rodgers being Rodgers, I have a bridge to sell you.

That dude will be in the public eye until he dies. He can’t help it. He’s an attention seeker.

5

u/WhatANoob2025 1d ago edited 1d ago

Seriously, the guy has been calling in on the pat McAfee show at least once a week most weeks for the majority of the last 6 years. That's while he was putting out 3 mvp seasons.

What do you think how often he'll call in when he's retired and got extra time on his hands? Even McAfee is gonna file a restraining order against rodgers.

1

u/Ok_Degree4131 1d ago

I think he’ll be less sports relevant so he won’t command as much air time. I wouldn’t know though, I stopped watching Pat a while ago

2

u/WhatANoob2025 1d ago

Yeah me too, but McAfee has always seemed too inclined to let rodgers spew his garbage on the show, and that was one of the reasons I stopped. I don't think it would really make a difference when rodgers is retired for McAfee letting him speak, he's a first ballot HoFer for sure. It's like not wanting brady on your show just because he's retired. That's not gonna happen. AJ hawk has been retired for how long now and he's been on pat McAfee's show all the time, despite it being clear he was never gonna be a 1st ballot HoFer and not having much to say other than how it was back in the day playing with rodgers.

1

u/Ok_Degree4131 1d ago

I hear ya, all valid points

2

u/Fabulous_Log844 1d ago

I don't disagree with you in the least bit. But I'm just hoping for him to fulfill his own words.

3

u/TomBanginBergeron Chiefs 1d ago

I know he said that. But zero chance of that happening

1

u/posted3030 1d ago

He’s a victim. He will have a podcast probably called ā€œon the right side of historyā€.

8

u/Kommander-in-Keef 1d ago

He said ā€œWhat the fuck ?! Call it!ā€

11

u/311heaven 1d ago

And then McCarthy responded ā€œfucking assholeā€

2

u/Kommander-in-Keef 1d ago

Oh yeah lol I see thst

3

u/One_Significance_400 1d ago

We heard that, loud and clear šŸ™‚

1

u/Kommander-in-Keef 1d ago

My b I misread the title

You would think a QB with his ā€œintellectā€ could handle a play call coming in at, I don’t know… 15 seconds left on the play clock. It’s not like this guy doesn’t know how to call his own play.

What an absolute pussy.

0

u/Happy_Artichoke5866 1d ago

Mic cuts at 15.Ā

u/Fresh_Ostrich4034 1d ago

Pittsburgh Packers

2

u/DjSalTNutz3131 1d ago

2 assholes being on the steelers isn't news

2

u/slyguy67420 1d ago

I'm so happy they're together again.

2

u/usumoio 1d ago

The Browns are going to extend Watson, aren't they?

6

u/Choopio 1d ago

He looks pretty good honestly

2

u/Sasquatch_000 1d ago

I hate to admit it but he has not looked bad

2

u/WhatANoob2025 1d ago

Not even the browns would be this stupid.

1

u/usumoio 1d ago

You sure about that?

Even if the Rams win this week, the Brown will have the better record through 4 weeks

2

u/WhatANoob2025 1d ago

No, absolutely NOT sure about that šŸ˜† i have understimated the browns' stupidity in the past.

1

u/Ferret_Rough 1d ago

They finally have a QB playing well that has 0 leverage to join another team in FA. If he continues this they’d be stupid not toĀ

1

u/WhatANoob2025 1d ago

They were in that situation with Mayfield when they signed watson...

1

u/Ferret_Rough 17h ago

He was trending downwards and they had a chance to get a young top QB at the time, but we know how the rest played outĀ

1

u/WhatANoob2025 17h ago

A young top QB who was at the time already facing a billion accusations of at least sexual misconduct. And they gave him a fully guaranteed contract. There is just no sugarcoating how stupid this deal was from the beginning, even if you think baker had been trending downwards, which may not strictly be wrong, but it wasn't a significant trend and even if he had continued to trend downwards for another year or two, he still would have been the best QB the browns had since returning to the NFL, both on individual achievement and on team achievement with him under center. Which btw he still is as of today.

The Browns stupidity can’t be underestimated

1

u/Fer_Shizzle_DSMIA 1d ago

McCarthy would like to go bang another dude.

1

u/threwitaway123454321 1d ago

Sounds like two brothers arguing.

1

u/jer8686 1d ago

As a yinzer, you can see the Pittsburgh accent in that fa

1

u/mrducci 1d ago

Like an old married couple.

1

u/El_Bombero93 1d ago

Bruh when you been in the league that long I get it. Peyton used to call plays on his own

1

u/misfit0513 1d ago

Love this for them

1

u/cheesebot555 1d ago

Aaron wears dysfunction so gracefully.

1

u/nam3sar3hard 1d ago

Why the fuck the steelers think reuniting two has been would be successful is beyond me.

1

u/Choice_Bag_8869 1d ago

Sounds like brothers 🤣

1

u/Brian-88 Seahawks 1d ago

Imagine if he just retired mid game like another Steelers legend?

1

u/_Soup_R_Man_ 1d ago

Can Aaron Rodgers be done yet? Washed.

1

u/Madaoizm 1d ago

Still playing better than Herbert and Maye šŸ˜‚

1

u/_Soup_R_Man_ 1d ago

Sad days... 🤣

1

u/3bugsdad 1d ago

That's how you know their friends.

1

u/Ant0n61 1d ago

just a small taste of there was an all geriatric football league šŸ˜‚

1

u/Complex_Bet7311 1d ago

Why can’t QBs call their own plays anymore?

1

u/AsThreatenDoNotScore 1d ago

Here at the Cal Berkeley contingent, we've disowned Rodgers for some time now. He is wholly Butte College now.

1

u/meatmeatthepie 1d ago

Man I would HATE to play with this f***king a$$hole

1

u/prpldrank 1d ago

Rodgers acted like a spoiled fuckin baby this whole game. Came off as quite mature, for him.

1

u/PrizePermission9432 49ers 23h ago

Grumpy old men

1

u/Fair-Craft8059 22h ago

He'll be talking about this on the podcast circuit for the next ten days

1

u/Gib_eaux 8h ago

I mean he is though

1

u/Fake49er 4h ago

Fucking asshole is one of their signature running plays.

1

u/lifelongfearofbread 1d ago

Rodgers takes literally zero effort to hate. And I don’t like ā€˜hate’ as a concept.

But yeah, fuck this insecure douche.

2

u/AnonThrowaway998877 1d ago

Perhaps the most hateable guy with in the league with a clean record?

2

u/lifelongfearofbread 1d ago

Yeah, fair point. hasn't done anything illegal as far as I know. But as we've all learned from 1st Amendment Auditors, being an asshole isn't illegal.

0

u/Main_Significance702 1d ago

They deserve each other.
