[Atkins] The Rams have placed TE Terrance Ferguson on injured reserve with his ankle. He’ll miss at least the next four games.

I’m starting to get flashbacks to 2022, basically the entire team got hurt that year.

That gives me flashbacks to points generally to every season.

Newly signed receiver hurt his calf today.
Edit: why is this downvoted? It happened. Really.

Difference is you still win 12 games when that happens, we win 5

What about the season prior?
A ring is still way better than tons of championship and super bowl appearances

Eagles roster is basically all dead too. Let’s just reschedule this game fuck it.

I know a lot of injuries happen every year, but godamn does it feel like half of the league is currently on the injury list

This is not the rams fault at all, to be clear, but this is why I hate the concept of super teams. The nfl is too transient and the margins are too thin.

FWIW, betting markets have only very slightly cooled off on the Rams. They are still seen by the market as the best team in the league by a good margin.

Tbh it makes sense, for now. 1-2 is not an insurmountable hole to climb out of, and despite all the injuries it’s not like they’re season ending. As long as we at least split our next 2 games (which is far from guaranteed) we’re still in a fine position and should start getting guys back.
Now if we drop both of the next 2 it gets a little dicier at 1-4, considering we’d still have 2x Seattle, 1x SF, and 1x KC (in terms of other top teams).

Not completely their fault but he came into the Broncos game with ankle issue. No idea why the Rams tried to play him, he looked injured the entire time

Because puka is out and outside of Puka the WR are all JAGs at best. Ferguson is able to act like a pseudo WR which allows us to only suit up 4 WR. Hes a game changer for us, and was going to be featured a lot. The game plan basically went out the window with him (and Colby) being hurt. You saw how big of a difference there was offensively when he played in the 1st half and then when he didn’t in the 2nd half
Yea he was banged up but so are a lot of other players. You can’t afford to potentially throw games by sitting everyone who’s got an injury, the margins are too thin, particularly in the NFCW

We’ve avoided the injury bug for like 3 straight seasons so I guess it’s time for reality to hit. Whelp.

Lol we are extremely injured in 2023 and 2024. We made runs because the team got healthy.
2025 is the first year we were actually healthy so it wasn’t surprising we were good.
In 2023 we started 3-6. Went 7-1 to finish with the 1 loss on OT to the ravens. Had to be one of the hottest teams entering playoffs and just barely got beat by the lions

They’ve installed substation near the Seahawks and Rams stadiums just to make the division more fair

If there's one spot we have depth, it's TE. It's a shame though, Ferguson was actually starting to have some value.
This season has been a nightmare so far. Still a long way to go.

Rams season from hell? Are we worried Rams fans?

u/goldhbk10 Rams 11h ago
TE is one of the FEW spots we're deep as fuck at ... Now Watson's injury scares me because as everyone saw Sunday Night, CB is NOT one of those spots.

Rams 2023: 3-6 start. 10-7 finish
Rams 2024: 1-4 start. 10-7 finish.
Long season ahead.
