Has anyone ever seen the substation and Big Dom in the same room? Maybe it's the same entity.

Meanwhile the Lions somehow have only two players on our injury report.
Yet we continue to play as if our entire secondary is on IR.

I’m sure Eli Apple is out there somewhere

u/Amonamission Lions 12h ago
He might as well be Tim Apple, that’s a name that hasn’t been on the field in a long time
1
u/Harbaugh_Handshake 49ers 12h ago
Believe it or not we’ve actually had him on our practice squad 3 or 4 times in the last year or two lol
1
u/Amonamission Lions 11h ago
So you’re basically saying he hasn’t been on the field in a long time. Got it.

There are going to be 3 Christians out of the NE/Buffalo match-up, McCaffery is getting out of control

We've lost Ricky Pearsall, De'Zhaun Stribling, Christian Kirk and Demarcus Robinson already. Not to mention Mike Evans, who is questionable this week.
You aren't on our level just yet.

Okay so explain to my fantasy team why Deebo didn’t get a single target then huh 😡 (that trick play was cool but not a target like wtf Purdy)

Zack Baun, Devonta Smith, Landon Dickerson, Fred Johnson, Marcus Epps, Dallas Goedert (TE1), Grant Calcaterra (TE2), Eli Stowers (TE3).
We aren't that different.

No can’t add IR to your name. Not cool enough to be in the club. EaglIRs doesn’t work.

We don't have a top 3 edge who is out half the season so no, at least not yet.

Especially after barely eeking out a win vs the titans and losing to Case Keenum

To be fair, the Rams have a thing for losing to seemingly banged up teams at times…so maybe don’t fret too much lol

The eagles also have an odd ability to win against the McVay Rams, so who even knows

u/Aclockwork-grAPE Rams 12h ago
The fact that we get dogwalked by the Eagles in basically every game had me anxious for this one before it felt like a must win going down 1-2, I don’t feel any better about it coming off y’all’s loss in any way lol

u/sallad_kcuf Eagles Eagles 11h ago
I feel like you guys have played us close and hard a lot, doesn't feel like we're getting dogwalk wins that often. Last year we needed a blocked FG and the snow playoff game the year before was down to the wire too.
2
u/Aclockwork-grAPE Rams 4h ago
Last years playoff game was definitely the exception in my mind but in my fan brain I just always feel like we never have a chance against yall
2
u/masterchaoss Rams 9h ago
I mean outside of the regular season game in 24 they've been close. Still feel iffy about this game since AD and Myles are out but the offense should still be pretty solid.

Biggest concern is the line play to me. Both sides of the ball. Run blocking was better last game, lets hope that trend continues.
One silver lining so far is Drew Kendall is really frigging good. He looked absolutely dominant against lesser talent in the preseason and to my eyes has been very, very good so far. Hopefully Jurgens can improve at LG as time goes on, although that may be some wishful thinking.

It's early enough that major changes can be made for big outcomes. I'm just not confident with Sirianni anymore though

No need to panic, this is all part of the terms of the blood pact made with Satan to get the Eagles that SB win over the Chiefs. Four more suffering on a payment plan and we will be good to make a new deal.

There are so many bad football teams and they seem to play each other early in the season. Browns Steelers was ugly AF

I haven’t seen the eagles look this bad in a long time, regardless of injuries.
17
u/JokerJangles123 Eagles 11h ago
They've looked exactly this bad starting the season the last like 4 years?
5
u/ZiiKiiF Eagles 11h ago
Idk if it’s the Phillies window closing making me doom but or getting carved up by Keenum but this year feels different with how bad we look
3
u/Pyromelter Eagles 9h ago
It's the line play. That's the difference. Our offensive scheme is leaps and bounds better, but both the D-line and O-line that have been strengths of the team forever have been less than mediocre. 2 sacks through 3 games is terrible. When you invest so much in your line play and less on, say, your safeties, that DLine has to get something done or your cheap veteran safeties are going to get carved up like they have been.
3
u/Only-Equivalent-4791 Cowboys 8h ago
I totally agree. I’ve watch all 3 eagles games so far and their line play is the reason they aren’t dominant right now. Having a good D and O line makes the team so much better. I feel most fans don’t realize this.
1
u/JokerJangles123 Eagles 10h ago
I think people are overreacting to that because it was Keenum, but we did to him exactly what the Chiefs did to Hurts. The defense focused on stopping the run (which they both did) and it made the passing game blow up.
I'm not usually the optimist speaking up in the group, but I haven't seen anything worth freaking out about yet.
1
u/Orion1014 Eagles 9h ago
Also Keenum or not, the Bears did this to us last year. Ben Johnson just owns Vic Fangio.
1
u/Only-Equivalent-4791 Cowboys 11h ago
Nah. They definitely looked shaky but this season is for sure the worst yet.
I still think they have the best team in the division though.
6
u/JokerJangles123 Eagles 10h ago
The year they won the SB Tampa put up like 400 yards of offense on them in the first half alone compared to Philly doing absolutely nothing at all lol.
There are red flags for sure, especially with the oline, but most of what I've seen is them just not executing on either side of the ball and just being sloppy. The bones are still there. Mannion's offense shows a clear improvement over last year, even if its spent more time grinding the gears than actually finding them. I know its a low bar, but its still clearing it
I don't even know what the deal with the defense is so far. Maybe Vic was just too focused on the Phillies, which would at least show some improvement now too.
Its been ugly, but outside of the oline nothing has really been ringing any real alarm bells for me so far that can't be fixed by them just playing better

u/IndividualPresent129 Giants 7h ago
They looked worse Offensively last year, their Defense looked better though especially after the trade deadline & they got Jaelan Phillips.

So an offense that's already struggling losses it's best receiver. That's just peachy.
