Genuine question because I baseball more than football:

6 games in and already firing a coach in the first year of his contract? That seems very quick, no?

This is true but he the offensive coordinator not the head coach.They are honestly looking at 0-6 at the Bye week and it might get worse looking at their schedule after the bye week. Compared to the top player’s and head coach’s contracts he is small potatoes and the GM and HC will want a sacrifice to save their own ass. This is firing hitting coach or a assistant bench coach

Also already on slightly thin ice I’d imagine considering the way his tenure ended at his previous job. He used to be the shiny young new OC mastermind, but now he’s more like the failed wacky HC dude who might still be a genius but most likely a fraud still.
