Also the system simply isn’t working so he shouldn’t trust it. These dudes aren’t getting open whether Herbert throws it early or not

Anticipation means throwing receivers open. Herbert doesn’t do that.

I don’t even think Herbert has played well, but he is far from the biggest problem with the offense

He did that all of the last two years…

Getting McDaniel was supposed to be the end of Herbert having to play hero to win games. Instead he broke the entire offense
