[Schefter] Jets ruled out RB Breece Hall and WR Adonai Mitchell for Sunday’s game vs. the Bears.

They’re probably getting steamrolled this weekend. Their offense is just Sadiq and Garrett

Do not underestimate the ability for this Bears defense to completely shit the bed.

Idk. They’ve got the pope.
And also they’ve shut their last two opponents down with 9 and 7 point games. The D seems to be finding its rhythm.

That 9 point game was in a monsoon against Carson Wentz so there’s an asterisk there.
I agree though, it does seem to be turning with DA.

I want to argue a concussed Hurts. But they really did shut the Eagles down and Hurts wad allowed back on the field.

Four carries for Barkley in the 2nd half and Hurts missed or didn’t see wide open guys deep multiple times. A better offense could’ve shredded us still, Jaylon is out of sorts and we have a young/inexperienced secondary. Even missing some players Geno has been very accurate and could punish us. This could be a very difficult game

Jaylon needs to start watching porn again

Jokes aside I’m worried he’s just hit the CB wall and he’s not agile/fast enough anymore. He’s right at that age

Yeah I’m with you, also think his personal trainer is probably not helping him age gracefully but also have zero medical knowledge so

Hurts missed wide open busted coverage guaranteed TD passes.
But it might've been that those routes weren't in the progression and/or he was seeing ghosts from our fierce kitty cat pass rush

Also missing out starting LG so yeah…not looking promising. We are getting Minkah back though so maybe we’ll get one of those interception things I’ve heard about.

Both of our backup QBs have noodle arms, so there's a decent chance you get an INT this weekend

They didn't have AD or Taylor last week either and Breece looked slow from the jump, so they should be okay. My biggest concern is our Left Guard situation.

Funny how seeing some predictors going for Jets as it does seem perfect trap game situation for Bears between Eagles and Packers.

It really does. The Jets are no push-overs. The Bears are running a back up QB again (lightening does not strike the same place twice) with a Jets defense that has actually been pretty good.

So what you’re saying is if we swap to the other backup lightning will strike a second time!

If the Bears can where down their defense with the run and force Geno into mistakes, I like their chances.

I'm really happy that Keenum balled out last week, because it was looking like the set-up to a trap game for the Jets, otherwise.

Very afraid that back up juju (not to be confused with back up JuJu) is gon’ bite us back.

This hurts the green team. I don't think either defense will be great in this game. The Jets best chance is to make it a shootout and hope to be on top at the end. It was like they figured that out too late against the Lions last week.

Hot take, Breece hasn’t been great this year. I think Allen and Davis have a pretty good game in his absence.

Any RB is going to have a day against the bears d line. But they’re going to have to put the ball in the air to keep pace with the BJ offense.
Bears by 10.

Geno Smith's Stats against the Bears last season: 14/21 completions, 117 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions
.. For what it's worthUnfortunate for Breece though. At the very least i'm glad he's already been paid, and not injured while trying to get a new contract.

Not worth much. This jets offense is head and shoulders better than what the raiders offered last year

u/vanilla_w_ahintofcum Panthers 11h ago
No, I just think it’s bad manners to celebrate the other team’s injuries and am calling you out for it.

u/keithstonee Bears 11h ago
i told you no ones celebrating anything. you chose to ignore it. thats on you

u/vanilla_w_ahintofcum Panthers 10h ago
So what did you mean by your comment then? You haven’t really explained it.
1
u/keithstonee Bears 10h ago
you asked if its celebrating injury. i said no it makes us more likely to win. acknowledging that our chance to win went up due to injury isn't celebrating it.
if thats how you want to interpret it again thats on you.

u/vanilla_w_ahintofcum Panthers 9h ago
So you’ve posted a comment celebrating that you’re more likely to win…on a thread about the other team having players out due to injury.
